The secret of happiness is in our spirituality

I want to talk about spirituality, because many times we find ourselves in our lives struggling to overcome ourselves and obtain material things, ignoring the part that makes us human beings, which is spirituality, I hope you like it.

Many years ago I heard a person say that "the lifespan of human beings is a spark in the universe." Then I remembered that the insects known as mayflies can live one day, and I wondered, would that insect have been happy during its twenty-four hours of life? We will never know because it is believed that insects have no conscience. But we human beings were provided with conscience, that was a valuable gift that God gave us and in that spark that our life represents, we have the capacity and responsibility to be happy and give a positive meaning to our existence.

Consciousness opens the doors to a spiritual dimension, which is an essential aspect of the human being. Spirituality is our inner sanctuary, where we find a final meaning to life. A compass that guides us to be better human beings and happier people.

Many of us go around the world leading dark and hazardous lives that produce a great feeling of emptiness, dissatisfaction, and anxiety. The solution to these negative situations is to empower our spirituality, through the search for experiences that make our personal life make sense, looking for positive options to fill the inner emptiness.

The basis of all this is inner contemplation, which is a process that can help us discover what really matters in our lives. Cultivating spirituality allows us to focus on who we really are and want to be and gives us the opportunity to increase our ability to live personal experiences of joy and happiness.
