COMPASSION OVER DOCTRINE.

This will be my first time posting here and I am so elated to have discovered this community.

I really do have a lot to talk about religion and Christianity and I happy to find my niche.

I hope y'all are ready for me 😁😁.

So few months ago I watched a movie and this word was said in it, Compassion over Doctrine and I decided to ponder on it, while pondering on it I discovered that over time we as Christians as neglected what matthew 7:1-6(emphasis on verse 1) says that we should not be the judge over anyone.

We are so prone to judging people making it look as if we are the righteous one.

We forget the fact that we aren't supposed to condemn anyone.

The word Compassion goes together with Love

It's so surprising how we vemt out judgement to people with so much ease, poke nosy into others people life's trying to make decisions for them simply because they committed one sin or made one mistake or the other.

In the book of Exodus 2 when Moses was over zealous and wanted helping out his fellow Israelite, a question was asked in verse 14 who made you a judge over us, as painful as it may sound, afterall he wanted helping out his fellow Israelite, Who really made him judge over them.

Most times that should be the question we should ask our selfs who made us judge over people.

It's not bad to reprimand anyone who does wrong but all I am saying is that we should do it with love.

You can attest to it that if you want to reprimand someone that you love( be it your child, nephew or family members or church members) you will do it with so much caution.

So let love comes into your heart first when you want to scold that young teenage girl who got pregnant out of wedlock, that boy who smokes or deal with hard drugs, that young lady who seems arrogant or stubborn, let love lead in all you do.

Let love comes to mind not judgement when reprimanding anyone at all be it someone you love, someone you are close to or a distanct person.

I know we all have different truck load of doctrine governing our different religious organizations and groups but if we allow love lead you won't have to drive potential members, potential pastors, Evangelist, prophet, away.

As a teacher in school let love lead, enough of venting anger on the little ones handed over to you to Carter for.

Any profession whatsoever you find yourself before dishing out piled up of doctrine or judging anyone let genuine love lead please 🙏.
