63rd Araw Ng Lugait Celebration: Founding Anniversary Of The Town

Today, Lugait Misamis Oriental celebrated their 63rd Founding Anniversary and it is already expected that there have lots of special activities and occasions happens in the Place. As for that, I decided to went to the town to witness and watched the street dancing competition to be held at Lugait Public Square Plaza. The exact time of the program will be started at 8 AM, that is why I hurriedly went to the place. This blog of mine contains lots of photos so that we can imagine and visualized the happenings in the place.

There are some children from different kinds of schools here in the town, showed their talents about dancing and the theme is the street dancing competition. They wore many colorful and unique designs that can really attracted more people.

Their costumes represents and shows the older civilization of the town, but before they started to perform their unique and wonderful dance, the Narrator read the short history of Lugait to introduce the place to everyone. As I arrived at the place, everyone was very busy preparing for the street dance competition, their costumes and designs are very colorful and attractive to eyes. Visitors and audiences are very excited to watched those colorful street dance competition.

During The Activities:

This are some of the participants showed their unique talents about dancing. People are very enjoyed watching those dances in the Public plaza. Even if it was a very intense hot sunny day, still there are lots of people watching. They did their best to do their wonderful dance performance during the activities.

I really amazed of their dance performance. There are lots of people came in the place just to watch those street dance competition, some of them are came from far away places just to watch the activities. They also installed a big television in the stage so that everyone can see the dance without any hassle. There are lots of people that is why it is hard to see the dance, and the big television together with the Camera Men are doing their best to captured the best videos on live. They also have drones so that it will take a nice aerial videos and can see the entire place.

It takes more hours of activities and after the competition, I proceed to explored the entire Public Square Plaza. There are lots of flaglettes and colorful clothes hanging on the streets. More foods and products are also sell and displayed at the street and I was having a lot of fun time seeing those sell products. It was 11 in the Morning when I still at the Public plaza, and I started to look for any products that I would like to buy.

This unique arch were the messages and name of the place written. It says " MAAYONG LUGAIT " a kind of short greetings message in the place. I spend more hours exploring the place, And I take this wonderful opportunity to share the special occasions here in the town of Lugait Misamis Oriental. The Peace and Order situations was really secured because of many securities are there, and for avoiding traffic in the street, there was also a law enforcement personels and traffic enforcers standby in the street assisting those drivers. Lugait Public plaza is nearly at the National Road that is why it is expected to have traffics because of the activities, and this can't be happen. The Program was successfully ended at exactly 1 PM and the Local Government was very thankful to all participants and Committees who participated and joined the wonderful and great activities in the town.
