Coconut Harvesting Day And My Simple Travel Blog
The weather is very good, calm and very perfect for this work and it fact it is very hot sunny day, predicting that the summer was officially entered here in our Country. My Father requested 4 Workers for this day so that this kind of work will be done within one day. As I observed them doing their obligations, For me it is quite very dangerous. No supporting ropes tied in their wist and any false move will be a great disaster will be happen. We always advice this people to be more careful specially by climbing those coconut trees that contains algae plants because it is a kind of slippery to climb up.
Each coconut trees can harvested almost 10 pieces of coconut fruits and I am very happy about it. For this record today, we already harvested almost 400 coconut trees it the approximately pieces of fruits will be estimated of 4,000 coconut fruits. We sell this into pieces, not a copra and we are very lucky that we have nieghbors here who wants to buy our harvested coconut fruits. The last harvest it was estimated of about 300 coconut trees but other tree are keeping bare its fruits and it will be harvested for the next harvesting season and now here it goes. The estimated time of finishing this will this afternoon 2 PM, because according to the workers or harvesters, they have another appointment after this. That is why it should be done not reaching 3 PM.
This delicious Buko is very perfect for this summer and everyone were love to eat this kind of fruits. Buko juice is very expensive in Cities and they sell 1 USD each buko. My relatives who visited us and came from far places are also love to eat buko and they were very happy if we give them to eat.
The dried palms will be use as firewoods and sometimes we cut it, tied in a straws and sell to the Public Market. Using dried palms is very perfect for cooking food porpuses and according to our elders, it is very better to use firewoods rather than stove. For me, it can also less the family expenses and this is very important to us as a villagers and living in the Province. Our place is very lucky to have this kind of valuable plants, and I am very proud to have this kind of place to live. I am very surprised that the workers are done at 10 AM and my Father was also very surprised. After that, we computed the total expenses and their labor paying.
After Harvesting Was My Simple Travel Blog
The streets have already solar lights and this give a big help to all residents here and the visitors who will visit our Public plaza. The last time, there was no any street lights and some parts of the place are totally dark. This project is very wise because it gets an energy from the sun and no electricity involved meaning the electric consumption will be less.
Next place I went was this shoreline located at Zone 14, Barangay Poblacion Manticao, Misamis Oriental. Most of the residents here are fishermen that is why they owned this small boats. Some residents were very busy preparing their things so that on this afternoon, they were be ready sailing to the sea and do fishing time. The fish they will catched will be sell to the Public Market or transporting to other places.
I proceed in this valley were many rice plants located in the field. Most of the rice sellers brought there selling rice from here and this is a kind of important to our Local Economy here. Many travelers are passing by and stopped in this place just to take pictures and there also bloggers who blog this place.
After my short time travel blog activities, I also feed my chickens as I arrived home. I really like to feed my chickens every 11 in the morning serve as a snacks for them. Raising chickens is also very helpful to us here because we can also sell to the Public Market every Sunday. According to the raisers, our place is good for culturing goats and chickens that is why I tried to culture this chickens and I really hope it will be more and multiplied.
This are my simple work for today here in the Province and I really having a good and enjoyable time.
