Food Random Post For The Day: Cooking A Simple Vegetable Dish And Yummy Latik Snack
Last day, Me and my Mother decided to go to Market to buy some of our necessary and basic needs. We spent a little bit much because of some items that are already fluctuated. We also have some money to buy meat and vegetables and I was very happy about it. We spent almost 600 Pesos and my Mother did a budgeting methods so that we can make less of expenses. Because we plan to cook Tininlag, one of the most popular simple and Pinoy foods here in the Province, it must be in complete ingredients. We brought this following ingredients;
• Meat
• Cooking oil
• Salt
• Other seasonings
• Soy Sauce
• Pechay Vegetables
• Vinegar
• Ripe Banana
• Brown Sugar
• Garlic
• Onions
• Ginger
• Bell Pepper
After that, we hurriedly went back home so that we can start cooking my favorite dish and snacks. First I gathered up the ingredients and prepared it very well.
First, I separated the bone from the meat so that it would be easily to sliced into cube shapes. The bones will be added soon as the meat will be cooked.
The fats are also separated from the bone and meat, in our cooking traditions we first cooked this fat so that it can releases more oil and it can be abled to used as sauteing for garlic and onions. After slicing the meat and fats I carefully washed with clean water and begin to marinate for a few minutes.
The preparation of marinating meat must be done by the following steps. The onions and garlics must be cut or sliced into thin strips. Add some sliced of ginger, soy sauce and vinegar before adding also the meat.
I also chopped the vegetables to he added to my dish. Pechay vegetables are very perfect in this kind of dish and it can make the food taste delicious. After that, I carefully washed with clean water and put in a clean tupper ware.
When the preparation was finished, I decided to sauted the garlic and onions first and it must be turn into color brown and comes it good smell.
Next, after sauting those spices, I add the marinated meat and I carefully mixed it so it will balance the taste. I cooked the meat a few minutes before adding those vegetables.
After that, I add a right amount of clean water so that the dish I cooked will contains broth. I carefully mixed it and after that I add some right amount of salts and other seasonings.
Latik Snacks, Perfect for Summer:
Latik is one of the most popular snacks here in the country. This is one of the Pinoy best snacks especially for children. Cooking in this kind of snacks is very simple and it only needs a few Ingredients.
I also grated some coconuts, the primary ingredients are grated coconut. I add a right amount of water and squizzed so that the coconut milk will comes out.
Next, I carefully pell the the ripe banana and I placed in Tupperware. Before I cooked this food I mixed all the Ingredients just like Brown sugar and and coconut milk to make it very tasty. I cooked it for almost an hour. Cooking our favorite dish are very fun and enjoyable. And this will also added to our skills. Thank you for visiting my post, have a nice day everyone.
We never tried cooking the ripe banana with the coconut milk and sugar because the banana when ripe is already sweet. For that recipe, we will use the unripe one, we will slice the peeled unripe saba to boil, then we add the coconut milk and sugar. Will try that soon to see if we like it.
For us here ate, We love to ate ripe banana added with Coconut milk and sugar. We really enjoyed eating specially when summer season.
