Hive Garden Journal Day|| Planting More Vegetables And Lemon Grass
When planting lemongrass, it is necessary to dig 6 inches deep so that the plants do not fall immediately when the soil softens due to the water brought by the rain. I would rather fill it with organic fertilizer such as dry leaves and other things that rot easily. It helps the plants to grow easily, healthy and beautiful.
These are the dry leaves that I will mix with the soil that I will use to mulch my plants. But it must be broken into pieces before mixing with the soil. When I do a garden, I first clean and remove the weeds using the brain so that the area looks clean and I collect the weeds that have been removed in one place so that they can be easily taken and stored in what we call a compost pit.
After digging, immediately put lemongrass. Each pit should only be placed on two lemongrass trees and its pit should be at the right depth so that it does not fall easily when wet with water. When planting it must include a root and its dead leaves must be removed. Its tall leaves should also be cut so as not to interfere with planting. A week will grow its leaves so I can say that it is easy to multiply.
I also wanted to share my muringga plants that have now grown. I planted muringga seeds here. When planting muringga seeds, large seeds must first be selected and placed in water. When the seeds float, it means that it is not good to plant and when the seeds do not float, it is good to plant. All I do is keep the soil tilled so that it grows easily, healthily and easily.
I also noticed this flower of my eggplant plants and I was very happy with what I saw. When it blooms it is a sign that my plants are about to bear fruit. The only thing to do is always check the leaves and this tree to see if it has oud hidden. When the eggplants have oud, they should be cut immediately to prevent them from multiplying because it also damages the fruits.
These are also my okra plants. My Dad said that it would be good to plant okra here, so I thought of planting some okra plants as well. The way to take care of it is to always check my leaves for ouds. The soil around it should always be tilled so that it can grow easily and grow healthy.
These are my ginger plants. Here in our area, ginger is one of the cooking ingredients required in different kinds of dishes. Because ginger is very expensive per kilo here, I thought of growing gingers to reduce the cost of buying cooking ingredients.
Having our own garden helps us to have healthy and away from synthetic things. We are also sure that the food is safe to eat, especially the vegetables.
