My Travel Blog: My Previous Beach Travel In Lugait

Traveling is one of my hobbies in Life, and as for that I traveled everywhere near in our Town. Previously, I decided to went to the Shoreline here in Lugait, were many residents are being busy searching for sea shells, crabs, shrimps and fish every low tide. This place is located at Zone 2 Barangay Calangahan. As I arrived at the place, I noticed this woman very busy looking for something at the sea weeds. As far as I know, she was looking for a sea urchin a kind of marine animals that contains lots of thorns. 8 In the morning when she begun to do her enjoyable work and she was very happy everytime when she founds urchin.

This is what a sea urchin looks like, in local term we called it Salwaki. It takes a few minutes before she find this kind of marine animals. It lives under the sea weeds and stucked in there during low tide. Its thorns is also served as a feet. This is a kind of exotic food that most of the people loves to eat.

This old rocky road is also located in Barangay Calangahan, this is very helpful to all residents here so that they can take short cut and avoid passing in the busy road. The road is full of big rocks and it is very muddy when the rain comes and dusty when summer season. I also pass in here and it is near at the Coast that is why, it can also be seen the beautiful sea up here.

It was late 10 AM but there was no sunny day, because of the big white clouds covering up in the sky. The waves was started to rising up due to high tide and the winds wiping to the shore. The trees was also swaying because of the winds and splashing of sea water to the stones because of the big waves.

While I was walking at the beach, I noticed that some of the place contains this kind of black sand, and we called it Margaha. It is one of the materials used for sharpening the tools and materials for making a sand paper. I was really amazed of the place because of this black sand instead of white, there are some shiny particles on it and it will glaze everytime when it hit by the sunlight.

Corals, sea shells and big stones are all over the place. Some of the stones are covered with sea weeds. This was my first time to be here on some parts of the place. This big chuncks of stones are submerged everytime when the high tide occurs, and it will showed up when low tide. Empty sea shells are perfect for decorations and there have lots of empty sea shells can be seen and found here. It is very unique because of its form, styles, colors and shapes.

I also noticed this hermmit crabs eating this coconut meat. This small kinds of animals was very enjoyed picking some small amount of coconut meat. I was very amazed and enjoyed watching this crabs. It can lived both land and sea and sometimes it can be found in the shoreline crawling in the Sand.
