Greetings everyone, Today I would like to share some Beautiful and relaxing areas in Barangay Biga Lugait Misamis Oriental. This place is really a perfect spot for summer adventure specially now-a-days. We already experienced an intensed hot weather, and it is really good to splash in the water and visiting a place just like Biga Coastal Areas. Before we proceed to my main travel adventure article, I will share the exact location of the place I went, and it helps this to everyone easy to locate the place anytime when you will visit the place. So lets begin.

Biga is the 3rd Barangay of the Municipality of Lugait, Misamis Oriental. Most of the Barangays in this town are near at the coastal areas that is why the primary source of income for some residents here are fishing. This Barangay is Near at the National Road, but the coastal areas is slightly far from the said road. Near at this place is the Migs Carwash and Resto Bar. It takes a few minutes of traveling when we start travel in Manticao, depends on the traffic. If we start traveling from Barangay Poblacion in Lugait, it also takes a few minutes of traveling.

What's In This Place?

First of all, Barangay Biga contains a lot of relaxing and good sceneries just like the waves and those beautiful rocks appeared in the surface. It was lucky for me during my short travel because the weather was calm and good. There was slightly big and rough waves occured but still is was very fascinating to see. It was also a low tide, that is why many kinds of rocks, fish, crabs, seashells and shrimps can be seen in the rock pools. Most of the fishermen set sail to the sea to catch more fish for their Meal or sell as their primary source of income for the family.

This wide rocky place was submerged by sea water, but when the sea water decreasing or having a low tide, the place full of water will transformed into rocky places. Many rock pools, Sea weeds, Sea animals like fish, crabs, sea shells and shrimps stucked on those rock pools. Some of the rocks have already algae plants and some it are also very sharp, and it really needs to wear slippers or sandals everytime when walked in here.

Some of the sea shells like Talaba lives on the big rock holes. This kind of animals contains of very sharp shells and it can make any severe wounds to our feet everytime when we accidentally step on it. Despite of that, these kind of shells can be eaten and one of the exotic food here in the Province. It is really hard to removed in the holes and it really needs to used any hard and sharp materials.

There are some marine plants can be seen here just like this mangroove plants. This kind of plants are very helpful for all marine animals particularly on its roots. Animals will inhabited under of those big roots and it keeps the place of not being eroded due to big waves anytime happens here in the shore.

Because of the beautiful weather happens here, the color blue sky reflected fo the sea water and the water becomes blue. There are only small portion of white clouds can be seen and the birds are very happy flying around the place catching more fish.

This big piece of wood was already washed down from the mountainous places down here. I really amazed of this and I started to asked myself how it ended here. The wood is very heavy and now, this big piece of wood is already served as a chair.

This is what we called, Romblon. The leaves of this plant is perfect for making chicken coup and it grows near at the sea. It gives a shady areas and their are lots of people who loved fo visit the place. Some of them will make a camp fire and spend a night together with their Families or Friends.

The place contains of lots of big and small rocks. Some of the cliffs here are contains lots of wild plants and trees. Those big stones was rolled down and the big stones was already submerged in the sea water.

Near at the cliff was this new excavation road. This will help other people for their shortcut so that they can save time. I was having a lot of fun time this morning, and I really want to be here exploring the beautiful place in Biga Coastal areas.
