This Is Where I Live Challenge: "My Simple House For Me And My Parents"

Greetings to all of us here in aseanhive community. This challenge initiated by @justinparke is very interesting to join. For today's blog, I would like to share our simple house here in the Province. I lived here almost 29 years already and this helps us to protect us from bad people, rains, heat from the sun and other Natural phenomenon. With the initiative also to my Father, our house were built.

Our house is located near at the River and even it is very dangerous for us specially during floods, but we keep ourselves living near it.

Our house is made of light materials just like wood and hardeflex. The wall is made of hardeflex and this is perfect because this cannot be damage brought by the water and burn by fire. The house made of hardeflex is very unique and organized. Our house is surrounded with many kinds of ornamental plants and flowers. It is good to have more flowers and ornamental plants, it keeps the place and house very attractive because of the colorful plants and flowers.

We also decided to install cable satellite for our television, in this way we can watch movies and news clearly with no bad tv receptions. The last time, we only used antenna but the reception was to bad and we can't see clearly. We decided to put on the rooftop so that it can easily patch up the signals. We have 97 channels of our tv because of this cable.

The ground is filled with sand because of the river. Last typhoon hit in our place, the flash flood overflowed here and brought many sands. The soil was already mix with sand and we called it sandy soil. If we have visitors especially when they brought their children, they are fun and enjoyed playing here in this Ground.

My Father also built table and chairs out of hard wood. Tugas is one of the hardest trees and it is good for furniture porpuses and cabinets. This table and chairs that my Father built are very unique and fascinating. He intend to built and put outside the house so that our visitors can relax under this tree.

Allow me to do a quick tour inside of our Simple House:

This our Balcony, when we have visitors we ordered them to sit here for a conversations. Our clothes were also hang near at the balcony when there is a rain so that it will keep drying even in a rainy season.

Next, our living room. Well I would like to apologize about the clothes, I have not enough time to fold it because I was very busy doing something. This place is were we can relax while watching television and writing some articles for my blog.

Some of my cats are starring in the picture, don't mind them. This is our dirty kitchen, we cook and eat here in this place because it also have tables here. Our floors Is made up of wood and we put varnish and floor was to make it very shinny.

We also have 2 bedrooms, one for me and for my brother. My Parents wants to sleep in the living room because they really make comfortable. The walls of the bedroom is made of old floormats and soon we will replace it a new one.

This small room is our comfort room the walls of this room is also made of hardeflex with concrete floors. We keep our Comfort room clean always.

The plates, spoons, forks and other dining materials are placed in this cabinet so that is will keep safe from getting broke. Our television is also place here in this cabinet together with the DVD player and soundbox. There is also a stand fan to get raid of the heat specially when summer season.

Living a simple life, simple and unique house just like our house is very proud. Even if this is simple house, more importantly is have a complete and happy family and happy living in the house.
