Travel Digest Activities: Visiting The Coastal Areas in Linangkayan, Naawan Misamis Oriental

Linangkayan contains lots of Beautiful sceneries and seascapes and most of the people here and for those who lived far away in this Barangay wants to visit in this coastal areas. Tonight, I will bring to all of you tye great and magnificent views in the place specially during Sunset. I was having an enthusiastic feelings this morning because I can visit the coastal areas for the first time of my Life. This is not quite really far from Barangay Poblacion in Manticao, Misamis Oriental and it can be abled to walk going to the place.

Linangkayan is one of the Barangay in Naawan, Misamis Oriental. Some of the residents here are fishermen and they cast their nets every 5 In the afternoon. 4 PM when I started to search and wait for any empty passenger vehicle and it took almost an hour before I take a ride on one of the tricycle here in the town. Instead of walking, I decided to ride on a tricycle and it takes 25 minutes. After that, It needs to walk a few meters away before we reached the shore.

This coastal areas contains lots of beautiful sceneries just like this one. It was very lucky for me during my travel because the weather was very calm and good. Waves are not rough and I can really seen the sun setting down. This kind of time, people are started to prepared their things to be brought for their fishing activities just like Nets, Lamps, Snacks, paddles and fishing lures. Small boats are very important and helpful to them so that they can set sail to the sea. Only splashing of the sea and slightly winds can be heard in the place and it can makes me relax.

It was low tide during my travel visits and there are lots of marine plants can be seen growing on those big stones. The example of this is the algae plants, grows in this stone and it was completely showed to the surface because of the low tide. This kind of plants helps the small fish hide inside and it will sways everytime when it reaches and submerged on the sea water.

I was very delighted during my travel adventure because of the great sceneries just like a paradise. This place is very perfect doing some solemn activities and feel the coolness and freshness of the areas. Even if the coastal areas are very rocky, still there are lots of people loves to visit and walk in the shoreline. Sometimes, their are lots of people went here for searching more sea shells, crabs, shrimps and fish hiding in the sand, big stones and in the sea weeds also.

I also noticed that there are also many dogs walking in the place, and it looks like they also enjoyed. They also searching fish and crabs in the shore and I was amazed of it.

There are also few coconut trees planted in the place and some trees grows in the cliff. Some of it are already vanishing the leaves brought by the summer season. Most of the trees can be seen and found here are Molavie, Germilina and Bagtangali trees, this can be help so that the place will keep fresh and cool.

There are lots of coral stones in the shore. And it was completely washed out by the big waves and landed in here for many years already. Some of the stones was rolled from the cliff due to soil erosions. It is really hard to walk here barefoot because of the big and sharp stones in the area and it really needs to wear sandals or slippers. Peebles and other kind of stone can be seen and it is good for aquarium decorations.

Rock pools can be seen here just like this one. Some of the rock pools contains sea shells, small fish, crabs or shrimps. Residents will hurriedly went here and searches for any of it for their meals. Visiting this place is very fun and enjoyable, and I really love to visit back in here.
