Travel Escapade At Sitio Kabingatan Naawan, Misamis Oriental

I have a wonderful and enjoyable day last time when me and my cousins and my Brother decided to take a travel going to Sitio Kabingatan Naawan, Misamis Oriental. This place is far enough from town that is why we need to walk a few hours before we went to the particular place. Even if it is far enough but still we are very enjoy walking together, laughing together and taking more pictures of what we're seen. We are so lucky that when we are at hiking situations, it was still warm.

The place was filled with many trees and wild plants. At first, many people who are already went in this place told us that there is a stone shape like a frog sitting facing towards the mountain, and we are very interested and we want to come to see actual.

As we arrived of the place, we seen this stone and a shape like a frog and it is sitting near at the mountain. We are very amazed of what weve seen about it and it was very perfect form like a big frog. Some stranger people went also in this place just to do treasure hunting and they are failed. This big stone is size like a house that is why I tried to climb up here and take a picture.

Near at the big stone was this spring. This was located near at the big tree and this will a help a lot to all residents who lives near at this place. Residents fetched water here just to use for cooking foods, drinking water , house chores and for the plants. They used bamboos so that it can easily get more water and it serves as hose and in local term we called it "Sandayong". They are blessed with this spring of water and even if there is a extremely heat, this spring will not dry.

They also say that the water is very cold and very fresh that is why this water is good for drinks. I tried to drink in this spring and I found out that the water was really cold and fresh. I was very amazed the time when I tasted the water and I filled up my tumbler with water and bring it home.

The place was slightly difficult to went because of the slippery areas and it needs to walk very slowly and carefully. This place contains a small caves and according to the elders who already lived in this place, this was a habitat with a native people. The place was very interesting and fascinating, for many years has passed the cave was completely covered with grasses and stones brought by big floods. They also added that the place was excavated by the treasure hunters but there is no valuable metals found and the only thing they found was an old broken pieces of pots, and shell necklace.

Because of excavation activities happens in this place because of treasure hunting activities, the place was completely destroyed by its Natural sceneries. This was a water falls but as the stones and soils are eroded, it was completely misplaced and the spring is already gone. People are very sad with this situations. To maintain its uniqueness, they don't want to be excavated the place again.

We had a really good time together with my brother and cousins. We took many pictures of different parts of this place just like this place full of bamboos. This was serve as a shortcuts to all residents who lived at the mountains and the place was contain overlooking. The area was very cold and it is good for Nature adventure.

The place was very stip that is why we need to walk very carefully. The place was called "Kabingatan" means legs stretch because of the mountains. If we went here, we need to stretch really our legs because it is very high, it was a unique name of the Sitio. As we continued to explored around the place,I noticed this cow walking on the trail. I tried to take picture with the cow and luckily, it wont go away while we are taking pictures.

I have a great time spending together with my brother and cousins. Our place will not be beautiful and attractive if we still destroying it. Our Mother Nature needs care and we are the only chance to maintain its beauty.
