Good morning dear everyone in the Black And White Community 🙌📸

So, I’ve been here for a little over two years, and rather than repeating my introduction, I’d like to offer a brief reflection on my work. I adore photography—just like all of you who practice it, whether professionally or as a hobby. For the past ten years, photography has been my "fifth grandchild"—that’s how I’d describe it. I have four real grandchildren—two from my son and two from my daughter—and photography holds the place right after them. I am 62 years old, and my health fluctuates from day to day; I have my good days and my bad ones. However, regarding everything I’ve published or created in Photoshop so far: not a single detail—not even the tiniest thing—is AI-generated or taken from the internet. I am well aware that some of my photos aren't perfect, but I don't believe I’ve ever published one that was truly bad—one that lacked a story or at least a shred of quality. I gladly accept criticism, though I rarely offer it to others, even when I see photos that might warrant it. Ultimately, though, each of us is personally responsible for the decision to publish our work.

I would love to do more street photography, but I feel uncomfortable photographing people on the street when they notice me doing so and I don't have their permission. People in my country have become disgruntled, rude, and ill-tempered, so I never know if I might offend someone or if they might take issue with it.

I took the photos with a Nikon D750, 50mm lens, f/1.8, manual mode, RAW format required, variable ISO and shutter speed. Processing in Photoshop - Double exposure and Action-Black&White3.
