Around 1:20 in the afternoon, I received a message from my friend in Argentina, his name is Alex and he's the boyfriend of my close friend her name is Shaina. We’ve been talking or we became friends since the two of them met last month in Argentina when my friend visited him in his country for about 3 weeks. Shaina, my friend or his girlfriend became our translator, since Shaina can speak Spanish (she’s studying Spanish) and she knows how to speak in English meanwhile I know how to speak English but I don't know how to speak Spanish.

Also, Alex and I were talking about how are you, what are you doing, the temperature, etc., and also, sending reels since we became friends and Shaina already told me that her boyfriend is fond of sending Spanish reels to everyone who he's close with, especially to his girlfriends. In addition, he already told his girlfriend that he enjoys my company, well, most of my friends are that I am comfortable with, they always told me that.

During the pandemic I studied Spanish through a free course that I saw online but I didn’t pursue it some words in Bisaya are similar or similar to Spanish so I can say I can understand a little bit of Spanish. But I focused on Japanese at that time but now? I don’t know anymore, I forgot some of it, maybe I’ll need to freshen up so I can recall it.

I was so slow at replying to him since I kept on switching from Instagram to Google Translate and I was having a slow internet. He told me that we should call because maybe he got tired from typing, I told him that I couldn’t fully understand Spanish without his girlfriend our translator and he said that it’s okay since language is our barrier, he can’t understand nor speak English fluently and it goes both ways to my Spanish too but still, I called him thinking that maybe I can use the mic in google translator to translate what he’s saying. Still, it’s not working since I have a poor internet connection.

It was already 3 in the morning in Argentina yet we kept on talking because he was waiting for his girlfriend to reply to him. In Argentina, it was already 3 in the morning, yet we were still talking because he was waiting for his girlfriend to reply to him.

While we were talking, I couldn’t help but be goofy because I lost words in Spanish and I knew some words or phrases that would help me like poco loco from one of my favorite animated movies: COCO, CHOCO MUCHO as one of my favorites too and of course the famous line of Dora the explorer. Hahaha

He told me that he called my friend 15 minutes ago yet my friend didn’t answer him so he talked to me. Shaina and I already talked about that if ever they argue since they are in LDR or Long-Distance Relationship maybe one day her boyfriend will ask for help if he’s in trouble with his girlfriend. I doubt that they have an argument because last night Shaina and I were talking about their relationships that's why I'm doubtful. Also, I told him that maybe his girlfriend was busy with work which is why she wasn't able to answer his calls.

I sent photos of our conversation with her boyfriend and I told her that I was joking she replied that, she already told her boyfriend that they should continue speaking Spanish to me, to enhance my learning skills. huhu

Someday, I’m going to learn Spanish too. Because I want to be a polyglot, but as of now, I want to learn more of the Philippines' languages since we have a lot of them.
I am continuously learning Tagalog even though I am Filipino (born and raised in the Philippines, but I am not good with this official language and also, and I am learning Tausug. I can understand Tausug when it's written but when it comes to verbal, I can't understand it anymore, and also I don't know how to speak Tausug fluently.

That would be all guys!

Thanks for dropping by!!
