Childhood Poem of Seasonal Fruit Rose-apple

Warso WarKhaung
Due to the floods,
the ripe rose-apple are picked.
Among the thorns and thistles,
Big black leech use to attach.
Is the black leech mean an animal with horn?
I am not afraid even the Snake dragon.
We also haven't afraid,
Let's go together !

I remember singing a poem I sang when I was young.

This is because I eat the ripe rose-apple which fruit once a year during this time of year.
The taste of rose-apple is sweet and bitter.
The ripe rose-apple is sweet and the unripe fruit is bitter.
I think ripe rose-apple taste better when eaten with salt.

In ancient times, it was raining and the water was flowing during the WarSo WarKhaung months.
It was a fun childhood to walk in the water and pick ripe rose-apple and eat.

ခရာဆူးခြုံ ထိုအထဲက
မျှော့နက်မဲကြီး တွယ်တတ်တယ်။
မျှော့နက်ဆိုတာ ချိုနဲ့လားကွယ့်
မြွေနဂါးတောင် ကြောက်ဘူးကွယ်။
တို့လည်း ကြောက်ပေါင် အတူသွားစို့
အုန်းလက်နွားလေး ထားခဲ့ကွယ်။

ငယ်ငယ်က ဆိုခဲ့ဖူးတဲ့ ကဗျာလေးကို အမှတ်တရ သီဆိုမိပါတယ်။

အဘယ်ကြောင့်ဆိုသော် ယခုကာလ ရာသီမှာ တစ်နှစ်မှာ တစ်ခါသီးတဲ့ သပြေသီးတွေ မှည့်ဝင်းနေတာ စားလိုက်ရလို့ပါပဲ။
သပြေသီး ၏ အရသာမှာ ချိုပြီး ဖန်ပါတယ်။
မှည့်ဝင်းအိနေတဲ့ သပြေသီး က အချိုကဲပြီး အမှည့်လိုသေးတဲ့ အသီးကတော့ ဖန်ပါတယ်။
သပြေသီးမှည့် ကို ဆား တို့ပြီး စားမှ အရသာပိုရှိတယ် ထင်ပါတယ်။

ဟိုရှေးအခါကတော့ ဝါဆို ဝါခေါင် လတွေမှာ မိုးကောင်းပြီး ရေတွေ ဖွေးနေတတ်ပါတယ်။
ရေဖွေးဖွေးထဲ လျှောက်သွားပြီး သပြေသီးမှည့် ခူးစားကြရတာ ကလေးဘဝ အတော်ပျော်စရာ ကောင်းပါတယ်။
ခုတော့ ရာသီဥတု က မမှန်သလို သပြေသီးတွေလည်း ရာသီချိန်မတိုင်ခင် မှည့်ဝင်းနေကြပြီမို့ ဝါဆို ဝါခေါင်လတွေထိ မကျန်ရှိနိုင်တော့ပါဘူး။

မည်သို့ပင်ဆိုစေကာမူ သီးတဲ့အချိန် ခူးဆွတ် စားလိုက်ရတာလည်း ကောင်းပါတယ်လေ။
