MCGI TOPIC REVIEW: OBEDIENCE TO GOD’S WILL | PART 1

As a child of God and as believer in the will of God, when God ask us to obey his words, it is not just about following the rules, it is also about surrendering our life totally into him. At some instances in our life, we might not totally understand his plans for us, but when we obey and trust him, it shows that we have faith in what he has in plan for us.

We can see a lot of great examples of heros of faith who obeyed God, and one his Abraham who our aside all his works and decided to follow the instructions of God and what he did resulted into a good blessing for him

Deuteronomy 11:1 says, “Love the Lord your God and keep his requirements, his decrees, his laws and his commands always.” we are reminded by This verse that obedience and love go hand in hand."

And above all, a perfect example is our lord Jesus Christ, who followed the instructions of his heavenly father without any complaints to come to this world and die for our sins on the cross. So anytime we talk about obedience as a believer of God's words, is should be in our day to day activities, in our conduct, in our behaviour and also in our willingness to love God.

John 14:15 puts it plainly: “If you love me, keep my commandments.”

There are a lot of satisfaction, joys, and good things that usually follow when we obey God. And our life shines bright in the sight of others.
