Revamped Scavenging Calculations: Balance Changes to Promote Leveling Gameplay and Burning

We're excited to announce the latest balance changes in our game! As always, our aim is to create a fair and enjoyable experience for all actual players. In this update, we're introducing a new change that we believe will greatly benefit those who actively play the game.

Previously, players were able to scavenge and accumulate resources at a steady rate, regardless of their level of activity within the game. This led to some players gaining an unfair advantage, as they were able to accumulate way more resources by multiaccounting. We realized that this was not in line with our vision of a fair and balanced game, so we decided to make some changes.

The new change compares your scavenge rate to the average, and the further you are over the average, the bigger your multiplier is, with diminishing returns. This means that if you're consistently upgrading and scavenging more than the average player, you'll receive a bonus to your resource accumulation. The bonus is higher for players who are higher level, but it will also become smaller as the difference between your scavenge rate and the average rate increases. This ensures that players who are actively playing the game are rewarded for their efforts, but not to the point where they become overpowered.

We believe that this new change will bring more income to the players who are actually playing the game and burning their resources, and it will also promote a healthier competition among players.

We understand that some players may be concerned about inflation or other potential negative effects of this change. Rest assured, however, that this change will increase the mint rate only by about 30%.

haha works for me! Think I'll get an alt to farm and go pvp mode on main, exciting to see these different approaches to the game, hope these distinct builds are encouraged over just everyone doing the exact same thing for a boring balanced build

Well done, I enjoy supporting your game, and all Hive games, even though I'm still not fluent on the game play strategies. I'm just playing intuitively at present when I have access to wifi once a day.
