The Valley Pariah - Original artwork and story

In the treaties of the Great Crusade there is no record of her name; they simply call her The Outcast.

During the invasion of the Iron Valley, the coalition generals believed they had captured a mere tracking succubus. They didn't realize what they had in chains until the First Phalanx attempted to cross the gorge pass. She wielded no swords nor wore heavy armor; her strength lay in the manipulation of panic and an agility nearly impossible for archers to pin down.

Her grooved horns are not ornamental: they function as resonators to channel close-range shockwaves, capable of shattering bronze helmets and disorienting cavalry before the charge. Her wings, scarred and corroded by siege fire, allow her to maneuver in tight spaces where any other warrior would be trapped by the weight of their own gear.

She fights for the salvation of her species. After breaking her own chains and slaughtering the central camp's guard, she became a frontline mercenary. Her presence on the battlefields answers to no loyalties: she charges in pure minerals to maintain the temper of her talons, and demands the right to claim the spoils of fallen commanders.

Today, as empires grind themselves down sending thousands of men into the trenches, she watches the advance of the troops from the rocks. She awaits the exact moment the formation breaks to dive down, sow chaos in the rearguard, and ensure no one survives to tell who opened the breach.
