This temple is built in a very beautiful colonial style and consists of a central nave and two side aisles that give it enough space for the faithful to enjoy comfortably seated masses that are held there daily.

My wife and I always visit it because it is located in the middle of Libertador Avenue, where the commercial area of Cabudare begins and whenever we go shopping downtown, we go inside for a while to pray. However, we do not attend mass there because we serve at the San José church in Barquisimeto.

The main façade presents the three beautiful wooden doors that each nave has. In this opportunity, the main door of the temple is decorated because it was recently named “holy door” by the bishop.

The holy door is conferred to the cathedrals and minor basilicas in the jubilee years, that is to say every 25 years (data provided by the priest during the masses).

When passing through a holy door you obtain the plenary indulgence, that is to say the forgiveness of all the sins.

When entering the temple we observe that the lateral naves are smaller than the central one. The polished wooden ceiling gives it a rustic but very beautiful appearance due to the elaborate beams and crossbeams.

The roof is supported by slender octagonal concrete columns that rise imposing from the moment we enter the temple.

The view from the main door shows in the background the altar with a light blue background and three light blue niches where Jesus crucified is shown in the center, to his right St. John the Baptist and to his left his mother, the Virgin Mary.

To the side you can appreciate the lattice site where the holy sepulcher of white color rests, that we find exposed because recently the holy week was celebrated and in that temple it is taken out in procession next to his painful mother.

These celebrations reflect an excellent connection of the Catholic Church with the people, in order to integrate them into parish service and maintain religious traditions.

seriously, I like the combination of two contrasting colors and it makes it stand out even though the building is not too big. The ceiling with the wood looks very sturdy and classic

I always respect and admire your organized travel together with you and your wife. We learn a lot by traveling to different places which doubles our experience. This amazing architectural design and the mysterious church are very beautiful to see. And the ancient chairs with the designs around are made of wood. The designs of the pillars are golden and white which are really beautiful and beautiful. Above all, I wish you all a beautiful day from the great creator.

The interior of this church--especially the arrangement of the wooden benches and the ceiling--reminds me of the arrangement of churches in Java, my country, because they have similarities in architecture.

Hi @gpache, the interior design of the church is beautiful, the wooden ceiling gives it a great style, the columns and the arch in the altar look great, a great architectural work.

Greetings!
