Last week marked my return to battle in @splinterlands. It’s been a week of learning a lot—as I’ve always said, that’s one of the charms of this unique card-trading game with exciting battles.

I had a few battles that are definitely worth remembering, so I’m sharing one of the battles I didn’t think I’d win—especially since I’m back after a long hiatus from playing, and as we all know, in this game you have to stay up to date on all the latest developments because they constantly change the card meta.

Honestly, that’s something I personally enjoy a lot, and it means that even though I’ve been playing Splinterlands for a few years now, it never gets boring.

La semana pasada ha marcado mi regreso a las batallas en @splinterlands, ha sido una semana de mucho aprendizaje, como siempre he dicho esa es una de las gracias de este singular juego de tradeo de cartas y batallas emocionantes.

Tuve algunas batallas que sin duda son dignas de recordar, así que les comparto una de las batallas que creí que no ganaría, sobre todo porque estoy de regreso después de un largo tiempo sin jugar y como todos sabemos en este juego tiene uno que estar muy actualizado de todas las novedades pues hacen cambiar el meta de cartas constantemente.

Eso sinceramente es algo que en lo personal disfruto mucho y hace que a pesar de que tengo algunos años jugando Splinterlands no me sea aburrido.

It was actually a very even battle, although in the end my Dread Tefarian did what he had to do by taking on the entire team—since I positioned him strategically at the back instead of using him as a tank, as is usually the case.

I have to admit that many of my early battles ended in defeat, but with some practice I managed to score a few victories after adapting to the different battle rules, which were new to me.

Lately, I feel my Life Deck is stronger than any other. I’m usually a spell spammer with the Water Deck, but I feel like the Life Deck has been reborn with the latest updates.

La verdad fue una batalla muy pareja aunque al final mi Dread Tefarian hizo lo que tenía que hacer cargando a todo el equipo pues lo coloqué estratégicamente al final y no como tanque como usualmente se usa.

Tengo que confesar que muchas de mis primeras batallas fueron derrotas, pero con algo de practica logré obtener algunas victorias, despues de adaptarme a las diferentes reglas de batalla que son nuevas y aun no las conocía.

Últimamente siento mas fuerte mi Deck de vida que cualquier otro, normalmente soy un spamer de magia con el Deck de agua, pero siento que el de vida a renacido con las ultimas actualizaciones.

Best Opening Frontier Pack

Last week I played the battle I shared with you and several more, but I didn't open my rewards. I was in for a big surprise when I saw the chests in my inventory, so I immediately went to the Mana Well to reveal my precious rewards.

The most incredible thing is that one pack contained the two best prizes: a Giam Root, which is legendary, and a Golden Mad Gearhead, plus a Marlai Singariel Water Archor, which is one of my favorites—I’m currently leveling up the one I have. That massive pack-opening session was definitely worth it.

La semana pasada jugué la batalla que les compartí y varias mas, mas sin embargo no abrí mis recompensas, me llevé una gran sorpresa al ver los cofres en mi inventario e inmediatamente me fui al Mana Well para revelar mis preciadas recompensas.

Lo mas increíble es que en un sobre salieron los dos mejores premios, un Giam Root que es legendario y un Mad Gearhead Dorado, además de un archor de agua Marlai Singariel que es uno de mis preferidos y estoy subiendo de nivel el que tengo, sin duda valió toda la pena esa tremenda apertura de packs.
