Helping with my little

It feels happy it's weekend and the final edition of @hivelearners weekly prompt.

Although I haven't obtained all I had dreamed of but am pleased with the person I am and the woman am becoming
Celebrating minor achievements and being proud of oneself gives you an edge for more to come.
Sometimes all you owe yourself and encouragement and trust knowing that the future is better than the present.

I'm proud of the strong person I am because no matter what life throws at me always strong and I think I will get through it.

I'm also glad that I can help people around me. No matter how little I have, I strive to give since I feel there's a greater blessing in giving than getting.

So there was a moment in school when my buddy needed her school fees. In my school and department, school fees are paid only once at the beginning of the session and if the portal is shut, it can't be accessed again meaning if anybody didn't pay his or her school fees at the beginning of the session, automatic additional year.

When she informed me about it, being my friend, I wouldn't see her repeat the complete year. Her Dad was late and her mom was a petty trader. I had just my saving. I was holding my savings in a box where I store my money regularly.

At that moment she needs the money more than I do. I had to break the saving box and we noticed $30 - #20. At least that was something.
The amusing aspect was that none of her pals agreed they had. God blessed me with a few excellent friends, I had to beg them to assist and they donated the little they had.

I know it was little assistance but to date, she praised me for helping her overcome the problem.
First, am pleased am conserving even little I had
Secondly am pleased that I could assist, it was truly God's help.
