Noise Pollution Can Be Frustrating

You know that moment after having a long day at work or school and you finally got home to rest your head and your neighbor starts playing loud music or on his generator or starts having loud conversation with someone that you could hear audibly and can't sleep? That can be really frustrating and annoying. I really wonder why noise pollution is not a punishable offense in my country. I think we should add that to the law because it is very important 😂. That's where technology comes in. Either people use solar inverters or noiseless generators, and if they want to play music in their home, it should be mild or better still a soundproof house.

I went to a church once in GRA(Government resident area). This place is known to be lived by wealthy persons. It's more like an estate. So when I got into this church the sound system was so loud and audible that the last person at the site could hear clearly. But the moment you step out of the church you can't hear even a single word from inside. I was told the church was built with sound proof and it was one of their rules and regulations for residents to avoid noise. I love it too much. Now churches place even speakers outside the church causing noise pollution.

I have had this encounter so many times. In my country, we don't have regular power supply so people have generators which are very noisy. Here in school and at home. If you live close to the road, the sound of cars can't let you sleep till night. That's why I prefer staying in a street far from the road.

Where I lived before with my parents, we have a neighbor that plays trumpet. Like we share the same fence with him. Not only does he play inside his house, he comes to his back which is directly opposite my room. Those times when you're back from school and want to have your siesta he starts doing his rehearsal. When we tried talking to him about the noise he causes he told us that he uses that to teach people and it was his house so he could do anything he wished, I was so mad. People are just selfish.

And here comes to muy lodge in school. This is X2 of what I experience at home. When looking for a lodge I still had it in mind not to stay somewhere road to the road. Because of security and noise. I really love my quiet time and not a very busy place. Finally I was lucky to get one but still have noisy neighbors.
We just have 9 self contained in my compound. Because we have light issues, all my neighbors have that same generator that makes it noisy. Some even on their generator overnight.
There's also this neighbor who has a generator directly opposite my window at night. Although it is a family compound not owned by my own landlord.
It's very painful that I don't have a good sleep until 11:00pm when they are on their generator.
There's not really a student who we can talk to, it's a man and his family. Oftentimes we close our windows just to reduce the noise to the generator. Sometimes when the generator is faulty it becomes worse.

Up till now we still have the same neighbor. But we can't change anything but manage.More over I am already used to it and I will soon be done with school so I will finally leave this environment and when resting a house again or building my house I am sure going to consider a noiseless environment with neighbors too.
