Wednesday Walk :Visited the Government Area

Welcome To My Blog

Hello friends, how are you doing? So I went to Bayelsa state in Nigeria. It is one of the southern states in my nation.
I went with my aunty to meet one of her friends who is a director at the ministry of works in the state.

The Secretariat is situated in the town area of the state named Yenagoa.

First you have to travel to a town they call Tombia, where I took a keke that kept me at the front of the Secretariat. Tombia junction is like a roundabout. It's just like a central junction where you can board car to different locations like PortHarcourt, Delta, Lagos. It also have lots of people with a big market.

The government house is near there but i couldn't take photographs of there due of security concerns and it was unsafe to do
My ambition was going to the ministry of works.
On my trip I noticed the federal high court however didn't get the opportunity to go inside.

The Secretariat is truly a tall skyscraper with diverse parts. We have other departments there like the ministry of health, ministry of land and the ministry of works and more.

The ministry takes charge of all the works and infrastructure to develop the state. It was a pretty huge structure still with several offices.
The director who we went to see wasn't around so we had to wait a bit for him. After a few minutes he came and my aunty had a chat with him.

It was truly a great experience.
I'm confident that one day I am going to enter the government house.
It was truly a wonderful and hectic Wednesday.
