Samgyupal, My Recommended Unli Samgyupsal

One Saturday, me and my officemates decided to dine out. We were all pressured by work and there are lots of issues at work, we want to breathe. We also want to tackle that issue but not in the office so we decided to go out after rendering overtime.

You see in our faces that we look like a bird that is freed from a cage. We were so excited like it was the first time we dine out.

I am not new in the place. I have been there with my besties. We celebrated something there this year as well.

Samgyupal, Korean Barbeque

Samgyupal is located in VA Rufino Street Chino Roces Ave Makati. It is very near our office and one Jeepney away. It is a Korean Barbeque restaurant, that offers unli meat for the price of PHP 599.00 ($12). Samgyupsal is a famous Korean dish where the meat is seasoned and marinated, cook in grill.

When we got there, we able to see how clean it is. It looks clean when there are only few customer inside. Everything is stainless, there are televisions that shows Korean Idol Music Video. It has air-conditioner but once the griller is on, it is so hot. It also plays Korean music in the background.

For the unli-meat for the prices stated above, these are the foods that it offers. It is unlimited side dishes too. We took advantage of ordering 4 cycles, or it means we ordered the same unli offers four times.

My Review
The Food.I am very fond of everything Korean. I love Korean series and my favorite idols, BTS. They are the ones that influence me to try Korean foods. When it comes to Samgyupsal, I do not know what is the best tasting. However, meat in Samgyupal is just okay. It taste good. The cuts are not that small. The meat is freshly served and the side dishes are good too. I love their kimchi. Despite how spicy it is, I can't resists to mix it with rice to make kimchi rice. The barbeque mushroom is good too. It is sweet.

The lettuce is in big serving too. My favorite is the potato balls. With meat I love the ones with enoki mushroom. Everything is good. It is affordable for the price and taste. One disadvantage is the look of their comfort rooms. It is not that clean. I had second thoughts of using it because I don't want to get UTI there.

Location and Tables. Our table is located on the side. We are comfortable because we are just beside the air conditioning. Even though the place is small and the tables are near to each other, I can still feel little privacy.

The staff and their service. The staffs are proactive and serve us as we expected. They even recommend side dishes and meat just in case we don't know other meals. They clean our table from time to time to make way for another orders. They are very observant to our needs. However, what I experienced before, during payday,they are so busy. They tried to be accommodating but they are all pressures by the volume of customers.I understand them though, because their job is not easy.

Final Thoughts
We enjoyed staying there. It only requires to stay for two hours. We estimated our eating time and 30 minutes before we end our alloted time we didn't order anything. I am not sure if you will pay for the foods that you can't finish. I failed to know that. It never experience that we have foods in our table, we always eat it all, lol.

For the simple dining in experience, we will come back. The food is good, the ambiance is just right, and the price is affordable. It is a good place to reward yourself and taste Korean meat. I apologise that I am not that good in my food review because what matters to me the feeling that left in me after the experience. It made me happy and forget about the pressure I was feeling that time. I enjoyed it.
