Elusive Exclusive #1 - Beach

Over the last few months, I've been able to provide tracks exclusively for different compilation albums.

I thought I'd do a little run of my tracks that are exclusively available via other projects, as opposed to self-released as normal.

A few of these exclusives have been released on the awesome Future Sound Anthology series from the Electronic Music Alliance's label EA Records. Beach was written for Volume 3 - which came out in the summer earlier this year - hence the summery vibe.

I was aiming for a Groove Armada sort of feel, that laconic, laid back sun-drenched vibe. I think I got there.

For the music geeks out there, what's interesting about this one is that it was mainly written on the Push. I tend to just use the Push for bits and pieces - but this was pretty much exclusively done on that device alone.

Another interesting thing is that because of how that led me to structure the song, this track is a contender for being played live. But more on that in another post...
