At the top of the stairs there's loneliness. More adventures in the airbnb. April 2022

Following on from the ground floor

Ghostly images in the window, date, maybe? early 20th century, pre WW2?

So now let's visit upstairs.

Lovely 70's carpet, my parents had something similar on their staircase.

Lots of lovely little knick knacks and plastic flowers everywhere

I am unable to determine when this place closed down, but the newspaper carelessly lying in the floor dates back to 1993. yet the bedding though damp to the touch looks like it could have been put there yesterday

A German version of a corby trouser press, one wonders.

_DSC3117.jpeg

Murder with the cutlery, charming bed time reading, still I guess it beats the gideon's bible.

_DSC3118.jpeg

_DSC3113.jpeg

A fluffy bog seat cover now that really is a throwback to the 70's. Happier days when the majority of people didn't ( excuse the pun) shit themselves if they heard the word "germs"

_DSC3112.jpeg

Yup the roof is going, won't be long before water ingress brings it all down

I wonder what sort of reviews would be earned on trip advisor or some other website?

"Twee", is a quaint old english term.... quaint, pretty, sentimental.

Do you want to go higher? C'mon then.

Awesome… worth the wait.
That bed does look used not that long ago.
Indeed, I remember the seat covers hahaha 🤣 and the pink colour of them.

This is giving gothic vibes. The newspaper which is laying there is popping up questions in my mind. That pitcher plant is different thing for me. If I sum up then I will say it can be a set for horror movie. What do you think ?

Hmmm this hose didn't close down far back, everything still looks quite new, especially the rug, bed and pressing iron, it doesn't seem old at all. But is this house hunted am curious cause you put ghostly on the first image

I like the building - pity it is abandoned. With some of the furnishings and miscellaneous items - it seems more like an abandoned home than air bnb. haha re. the fluffly toilet seat cover.
I am wondering whether there was squatters living there.
I thought Germany was a place of rules. Here the city would find the owner and get that place cleaned up and sealed off. Not much fun for urban explorers here.

I didn't get any scent of tobacco or weed, I got no impression of squatters, yes Germany seems quite lax when it comes to empty property. Guess that ois why I visit often 🤣

It is such a small town there is probably no need these days for a hotel sadly
