The creator, Jovita Aukštikalnytė-Varkulevičienė has since the turn of the century been volunteering in a psychiatric hospital, giving painting classes to patients and creating a series of sensitive portraits.

Such powerful and emotional portraits. Leaving out the facial details makes them even more mysterious and thought-provoking.
