Fellow Scholars and Scribes! I bid you welcome to the first annual SCRIBE SPOTLIGHT! 🙌 crowd goes wild 🙌

At the end of each year, we will take a couple of weeks to highlight our most diligent and talented authors. 😮

Our primary metric for choosing is the amount of SCRIBE you've generated.

Of course, there are other factors at play: your activity in the community, the number of writings you have posted, as well as your overall conduct with other members.

All quotes in this showcase are from the spotlighted creator's works.

Let's begin with our D&D superfan. Immensely talented and hard-working with an approachable personality. 🥁🥁🥁

Our very own @mellindor has brought her D&D world to life with staggering dedication. We have followed her character, Mary Freaking Windfiddle, through thick and thin. Watching her grow alongside her creator.

“I don’t blame you,” he said. “After all, nobody’s been able to track her for all these years. I just wish… ” His voice trembled. He paused to collect himself and then spoke again. “When she disappeared, we were heartbroken. But, we thought, at least she had done good in her last mission. She had stopped a bad person from doing more harm to the innocent. But…” he paused again. His eyes were filled with sadness. “It seems that her efforts were in vain. She didn’t catch the right person and the evil we thought she’d stopped has returned.”

@mellindor has shown her talents exceed the written word. Her skill with a stylist pen is as deft as her quill. This makes her content wholly unique in our community. 😌

Speaking of her quill, she has only gotten better with her commendable output. If there's one thing each of us has to struggle with, it's our dedication to our craft. @mellindor has that in spades, and we can all stand to learn from her bottomless pit of creative energy. 💪

She turned to the assassins. One of them, still under the effect of her charm spell, was watching her with a trusting smile but the other was still trembling in fear. She looked at him and suddenly a few memories popped into her mind.

She has also produced many world-building and character spotlight ❗ posts ❗ (the world-building itself was developed by @marydm). Further showcasing her talent as a character designer and world descriptor.

Her craft has also seen a noticeable jump from earlier in the year. She has become more concise, requiring fewer words to achieve her tone and setting. Har characters have become more expressive and distinguishable. And her overall pacing is just top-notch. 👌

Mary’s eyes widened in excitement. She’d been dying to know more about Aurum’s family! He never talked about them and that mystery had been eating at her curiosity for ages. They were probably just a few feet away now. Mary scanned the faces of the people around the wagons for anyone who looked like her friend.

Lastly, but certainly not least, her engagement and treatment of fellow Scholars and Scribes has always been something to admire. Her responses are always kind and measured. And her passion for her works and the works of others is palpable. 🙏

My personal favorite piece of hers is To Myth Adofhaer - a relaxing chapter that sees our heroes in-between events. Showcasing us their characters in a wonderful way.

The thought of the woman she couldn’t save wouldn’t leave her thoughts. She knew that the sum she was sending her mourning family couldn’t bring her back, but it would at least be… something.

Let's congratulate @mellindor on a successful year! And here's to many more to come! 🍻

Congrats to you @mellindor. After reading some parts of her fiction "mary windfiddle's adventure, I'm amazed 😲. She is a superb writer who uses the perfect words while describing her characters.
Talking about her drawings, she is GOOD 👍.
I'm elated 🤗 to see that the S&S community is acknowledging their authors thereby encouraging🤝 to do more.

Oh my God. What an artist @mellindor is. A fantastic writer with stunning drawings. I am in an awe looking at them.

What a beautiful remark! Wow, @mellindor you are amazing! You getting so much compliments from @grocko means you are all of these things and even more that we are yet to know.

When I read on @mellindor's profile, I saw her passion for drawing and I was totally impressed at how creative she made those drawings. I just got to know her today and it's all thanks to @dreemsteem and #dreemport. I will do well to check out more of what you do and get to know you in person 🥰.

I love the part when I heard she engages well, that alone I think we will get along really well, I love being around people that motivates me to keep getting better at being a good dreemer, hehe.

Keep up the good work @mellindor, I hope to see you keep getting better and better as the day goes by ❤️.

@mellindor congrats on being spotlighted by S&S 🙌😍 The one thing I noted in @grocko 's commendation of your writing is how it has developed and tightened over the year. This is something I am working on myself all the time. It definitely improves readability and holds attention better when we can say more with less. It's a wonderful skill to hone. She has a way with words, her characters and designs are beautiful, kudos to her. First and foremost, I so love her pen drawings! They are creatively drawn with passion and intent. This skill is a unique one, one that even I can't learn even if I try hehe! It's so similar to one of those I read in comic books with a slight difference of colors, @mellindor you have talented hands and seeing you are putting it in great use💖.

I haven't heard about you in the blockchain but with this SCRIBE SPOTLIGHT, it gave me a chance of knowing about you and your beautiful works, engagement and dedication to the community. No special item apart from my trustworthy pencils and laptop :) If they were magical in any way, I don't have a way of knowing :) I prefer thinking that it's my years of practice that have contributed to my skills :)

My skillpoints are mainly in DEX, WIS and CHA :) CON is my dumb stat :D
In oposition to me, Mary has a lot of INT and her DEX is barely there XD

To each their own, I guess :)
