I was so impressed by that worm, how it opened the ground and left a crack in the solid floor. Like it has super worm power.
But back to reality. I couldn't figure it out, what exactly Ultra Worm tried to do. It was alive. After it's photo shooting, I gave it a little nudge. Some wriggles, but no big reaction. It looked like the worm stuck in the crack. Couldn't help it. Poor wormi.

I found the wormy fella at our work side of today.
We removed deadwood from a beech tree and gave it a little roundhouse cut a la tree care.
Arborists require extraordinary skills like Ninjutsu:

Job done! Maintained the public safety. But the beech tree has already some big cuts from earlier maintenance and I think it won't take long until fungi dominate outside and inside, and start to decay the wood.
