2023 Shorts - For the Refugees

It has been a really long year of 2022 that we were so tied with work we have not been posting anything much substantial; but please do note that even though our HIVE page is empty, our hands are not ideal.

Due to certain restrictions, we were not able to share much but we have started to have a tighter collaboration with our Refugee team under the Life Community Services (LCS) umbrellaship, and this is one of their volunteers today took the brief open window where they can reach out to the refugee team and rushed over to our Food Bank to start packing.

We have been undoubtedly blessed with much more items along the way, and with one of our largest Christmas packing, we took a short break of January celebrating Chinese New Year with our beloved team while rest and rejuvenate before starting another full scale packing at the end of February.

Hopefully by then we will have more photos to share with you; but this time we might only have enough time to place them in "Shorts" series like this one.

In the mean time, we covet your prayers of journey mercy and favour with the government bodies so that we can at least help these refugee families, who are far from home, no where else to go due to Visa application delays on their transit to their permanent homes. Not only that, their children are vulnerable and open to exploitations and we hope as our Food Bank provides tummy-filling food and the Refugee Outreach team provides free education to the children, these next generation will be able to have a bigger chance of succeeding in life when they are grown up.
