[ENG/ESP] Walk through the parks of San Borja. / Caminata por los Parques de San Borja.
Hey everyone? I hope you are well, today I am back here after a long walk through a very curious and beautiful place, this week I had to deliver an order in the district of San Boja in the city of Lima - Peru, is a small district but very green, every street you cross there is a large park.
Hey que tal todos? espero estén bien, hoy estoy de vuelta por acá luego de una larga caminata por un sitio muy curioso y bonito, esta semana me toco entregar un pedido en el distrito de San boja en la ciudad de Lima - Perú, es un distrito pequeño pero muy verde, a cada calle de cruzas hay un parque grande.
I arrived at a park called Parque De La Felicidad in the middle of the avenue and I found it very nice and the atmosphere felt fresh, there were many young girls with dresses that looked like Disney princesses, taking pictures, I guess they were for their 15th birthday party.
Llegue a un parque que se llama el Parque De La Felicidad esta en todo el medio de la avenida y me pareció muy bonito y el ambiente se sentía fresco, habían muchas jovencitas con vestidos que parecían princesas Disney, tomándose fotos, supongo que serian para su fiesta de 15 años.
The cobblestone road reminded me of the yellow road in the Wizard of Oz haha, only this one was gray.
El camino de adoquines me recordó al camino amarillo del mago de Oz jaja, solo que este era gris.
After a while walking I saw a building with a very peculiar shape, it was the central building of the General Headquarters of the Army of Peru. The building seemed to have the shape of intertwined crosses, I remembered that some time ago I saw a program about a church in the shape of a cross carved in stone in Ethiopia, this building resembled something like that church.
Ya después de un rato caminando vi que al fondo de asomaba un edificio con una forma muy peculiar, era el edificio central del Cuartel General Del Ejercito Del Perú. El edificio parecía que tuviera forma de cruces entrelazadas, recordé que hace un tiempo vi un programa sobre una iglesia en forma de Cruz talladas en piedra en Etiopia, este edificio se asemejaba en algo a esa iglesia.
Continuing on my way, there were even more parks haha, the whole barracks was surrounded by many green areas and a boulevard with busts that I assume are of Heroes of the Country.
Continuando con mi camino, aun habían mas parques jaja, todo el cuartel estaba rodeado de muchas áreas verdes y un bulevar con bustos que asumo son de Héroes del País.
And finally I arrived at my destination to deliver the order, it was a residential area also with large green areas haha.
Y finalmente llegué a mi destino a entregar el pedido, era una zona residencial también con grandes áreas verdes jaja.
Well I hope you liked this walk, this district for being small has many green areas, more than any other district of Lima, taking into account that Lima is a city that lacks green areas being in a desert, it would be good that the rest of the city had as many parks as the district of San Borjas, I say goodbye, thanks for the support, until a next opportunity, greetings 😀.
Bueno espero les haya gustado esta caminata, este distrito para ser pequeño tiene muchas zonas verdes, mas que cualquier otro distrito de Lima, teniendo en cuenta que Lima es una ciudad que carece de Zonas verdes al estar en un desierto, seria buenos que el resto de la ciudad tuviera tantos parques como el distrito de San Borjas, me despido, gracias por el apoyo, hasta una próxima oportunidad, saludos 😀.
