Splinterlands:: Mad over SPS, My Strategy and Plan for Buying License Node.. Buying iT or Not?

Yes, it looks like that I am getting mad over SPS tokens. The more I have SPS tokens the more I want and it continues. Just want to keep accumulating and staking Splinterlands Governance token SPS. There was a time, where I had set myself a GOAL to have 100K SPS staked.

After achieving the SPS GOAL here, I am with close 142K+ SPS staked and I still want more as now I have reset my GOAL to have 200K+ SPS staked. All these times when the price of SPS was tanking and making all time lows. I kept on buying with all the passive income streams I have on the HIVE blockchain. May it be staking, delegation or LP rewards - I redirected most of the income stream in buying the SPS token. You may call this a madness or being greedy. But to be honest, I didn't want to lose the opportunity of not buying in SPS token which currently is trading at its all time lows. Hence have been building my crypto portfolio to have as many SPS I can and get to a point of having somewhere close to 200K+ SPS staked and reap 35+ APR rewards.

Strategy and Plan for Buying License Node..

The main question here comes is that - whether I plan to Buy validator license node or not? The simple and straight forwards answer is - NO; and that entirely because of low price of SPS. I strongly feel spending SPS at these level to get license node is not that worth and its better off staking SPS and get more SPS from it rather then spending it to get a license node.

Let me be honest with you all. I even went ahead swapping my VOUCHERs for SPS and staked them all. Sometime back, I had more then 500 VOUCHERs and would have taken the 50% discount benefit to get a license node.

But, I didn't go for it and rather decided swapping 100+ VOUCHERs for SPS. We still have 2.1K+ of nodes to be sold in Tranche 1. So its a long way before the Tranche 1 will be sold out completely. One would need 24K+ SPS along with 500 VOUCHERs to get 1 license node. My target is to shed around 20K+ SPS or rather even less and for that the price of SPS token has to rise and until then there is no plan to buy the license node.

PKM - SPS Pool untouched & Building

So from where I am going to get the 20K+SPS, if I am not touching any of the SPS staked? I haven't touched my pkm-sps pool on beeswap and continue to LP all my pkm rewards. This pool is going to be my main source of getting the SPS, when I need it for buying the validator license node. So my SPS staked isn't touched and continues to grow until I achieve my new target of 200K+ SPS staked. I am not sure if this strategy of mine would work or not but what I am sure about is worth giving it a try. Shedding SPS at its all time low is not that worth and hence finding a different path is what I thought would be good and worth trying...
