Are you planning to join the The Great Burning party to celebrate Splinterlands 5 Years Anniversary Celebration Party? If not then let me tell you that you will be missing out on the rewards that is planned to give out to users who joins the celebration party. In all there is around close to 3.5K prizes to be given out as part of the event which is worth roughly $150,000 at current market prices! That's' a huge money to be given out as prizes. Here are some of the glimpse to what rewards look like::

Burning DEC and DEC-B

As stated in one of my previous post - I do have plans of burning 100K+ DEC/DEC-B. Burning 3K+ DEC-B is my first attempt and along with that I had also burnt almost 4K+ DEC which I had received via my card rental income stream. Burning on the first day gets you 3x points and then decreases by point 0.07 points per day. So the early you decide to burn DEC or DEC-B the better it is as you get more burning points and places you higher in the leaderboard. And the higher the rank you receive the higher is the chances of getting more rewards. As per my initial plan of burning more DEC; I thought that I would liquidate some of DEC from the liquidity pool. For now, I haven't touched my LP pools for now and think that for now will be relying heavily on the DEC rental income stream for burning DEC daily.

Leaderboard - My Rank so far is 1.4K

As you can see from the above image you can see a lot of DEC and DEC-B has been burnt so far. We are talking in Millions;

• TOTAL DEC BURNED: 291+ Million
• TOTAL DEC-B BURNED: 149+ Million

And we still have 28 more days of burning left. I am hoping to see these burn numbers touch at least 500+ Millions; and maybe even more than that. More the Burn the better it gets for DEC overall. If we do achieve this then definitely there are a high likely chances of seeing DEC getting back to its dollar peg value.

Finally, if you plan to participate all you have to do is just burn DEC and DEC-B tokens and once you do that this gives you a chance to win some of the prizes listed above based on your ranking in the leaderboard. I am looking forward to keep burning DEC tokens as and when they are available to me. And precisely these are going to come via the rental income streams. I'll also closely looking at the price of DEC and if it rise drastically then I may look around exiting some percentage of it from my liquidity pool to have some DEC as liquid in place and take advantage of any price hike here. If at all this happens the plan is to leverage that income stream to buying in game assets which at present is being sold out at cheaper prices in the internal market..
