En Venezuela luego de la bonanza petrolera los años, 60, 70 y 80, fueron años en los que de ocurrió en forma masiva la migración de personas que vivían en el campo, para vivir apilados en los márgenes de la ciudad, así surgieron las denominadas Barriadas, lugares donde se construyeron numerosas casas, muchas veces estos lugares experimentaban mucha violencia, este es el tema de mi obra, así en cada hogar es al mismo tiempo una realidad distinta.

In Venezuela, after the oil boom, the 60s, 70s and 80s were years in which the migration of people who lived in the countryside occurred en masse, to live piled up on the margins of the city, thus the so-called Slums, places where numerous houses were built, many times these places experienced a lot of violence, this is the theme of my work, so in each home it is at the same time a different reality.

Hace años hice un dibujo parecido, de mi ciudad natal, Valera una ciudad llamada la ciudad de las 7 colinas, así que de una forma similar dibuje la ciudad entre líneas y miradas...
