The 2016 Libertad: The symbol of Mexico.

  Right after my last post about the Chinese Panda silver bullion, the TD bank branch that was going to receive my order bought from TD Precious Metals called me. They received the shipment and it was ready to pick up. After work, I drove there and asked the attendant about that. It was a bit of bureaucracy to get the 3 silver bullions that I purchased. She needed her manager could authorize the pick-up after checking my ID. After that, both walked me through the bank until we reached the vault of the bank! They gave me the envelope sealed and asked me to open and check the content with both of them giving me the back and waiting. It was a weird situation for me. I checked the content and told them that it was ok. I signed it and it was done. It was a new process, probably they thought that I was buying gold ingots! I could have posted today about one of the new purchases, but I forgot to take a pictures. Anyways, I still didn't present all the shopping that I got from @bulliontools (it is going to be the last tagging I promise you).

  The last bullion that I didn't present from my last hive shopping was the classic 'Libertad' from Mexico. This is the yearly minted bullion from Mexico. They mint it in different sizes. I didn't get the whole Ounce, I got the 1/2 Oz which is already nice and not so small and not so big. The Mexican mint is the oldest from the Americas. This coin is very well conserved, it is a proof coin. One thing interesting is that the 1/2 Oz brings a different layout compared to the 1 Oz. The 1 Oz brings different versions of the coats of arms, while the 1/2 brings only the most recent coats of arms.

  The Obverse is a Mexican Golden eagle eating a rattlesnake while on top of a cactus, more specifically a prickly pear cactus. Those are symbols of the country's flora and fauna. It looks like you can eat these prickly pears coming from the cactus. I am not sure if they are good. You can find also the whole name of the country "Estados Unidos Mexicanos" in addition to some leaves of laurel and oak.

  The reverse brings more interesting Mexican symbols such as the "Angel of independence". This symbol is known as their Independence monument found in Mexico City's downtown. The monument celebrates the independence from the Spanish Empire. The statue represents the Greek goddess of victory, called Nike. In addition in the background, you can find important natural monuments from the country, the two volcanoes Popocatépetl and Iztaccihuatl which are close to each other. The letter "OM" is the signature of the Mexican mint.

  It is a nice bullion that I was looking for a while at eBay, I need it for my collection, maybe I will get the 1 Oz next time. But still, It is a great acquisition. I saw some friends collectors from SGS already with this coin and I needed it.

  Logo após a minha última postagem sobre a moeda de prata Panda chinês, a agência do TD bank que iria receber meu pedido feito na TD Precious Metals me ligou. Eles receberam o envio e estava pronto para ser retirado. Depois do trabalho, dirigi até lá e perguntei ao atendente sobre isso. Foi um pouco burocrático conseguir os 3 lingotes de prata que comprei. Ela precisava que seu gerente autorizasse a retirada após verificar minha identidade. Depois disso, ambos me acompanharam até o cofre do banco! Eles me deram o envelope lacrado e pediram para eu abrir e verificar o conteúdo com ambos me dando as costas e esperando. Foi uma situação estranha para mim. Verifiquei o conteúdo e disse a eles que estava tudo certo. Assinei e estava feito. Foi um novo processo, provavelmente eles pensaram que eu estava comprando barras de ouro! Eu poderia ter postado hoje sobre uma das novas compras, mas esqueci de tirar fotos. De qualquer forma, ainda não apresentei todas as compras que fiz com @bulliontools (vai ser a última marcação, eu prometo).

  A última moeda que não apresentei das minhas últimas compras na hive foi o clássico 'Libertad' do México. Esta é a moeda fabricada anualmente pelo México. Eles o fabricam em diferentes tamanhos. Não peguei a onça inteira, peguei a de 1/2 onça, que já é bonita e nem tão pequena nem tão grande. A Casa da Moeda do México é a mais antiga das Américas. Esta moeda está muito bem conservada, é uma moeda de prova. Uma coisa interessante é que a de 1/2 onça traz um layout diferente em comparação com a de 1 onça. A de 1 onça traz diferentes versões dos brasões de armas, enquanto a de 1/2 traz apenas os brasões de armas mais recentes.

  O anverso é uma águia dourada mexicana comendo uma cascavel enquanto está em cima de um cacto, mais especificamente um cacto da pêra espinhosa. Esses são símbolos da flora e fauna do país. Parece que você pode comer essas pêras espinhosas que vêm do cacto. Não tenho certeza se são boas. Você também pode encontrar o nome completo do país "Estados Unidos Mexicanos", além de algumas folhas de louro e carvalho.

  O reverso traz mais símbolos mexicanos interessantes, como o "Anjo da Independência". Este símbolo é conhecido como o monumento à Independência encontrado no centro da Cidade do México. O monumento celebra a independência do Império Espanhol. A estátua representa a deusa grega da vitória, chamada Nike. Além disso, ao fundo, você pode encontrar importantes monumentos naturais do país, os dois vulcões Popocatépetl e Iztaccihuatl, que estão próximos um do outro. A letra "OM" é a assinatura da Casa da Moeda do México.

  É uma boa moeda que eu estava procurando há um tempo no eBay, eu precisava dele para minha coleção, talvez eu pegue o de 1 onça na próxima vez. Mas ainda assim, é uma ótima aquisição. Vi alguns amigos colecionadores da SGS já com essa moeda e eu precisava dela.
