My first Abstract Art | Creative Sunday

(Edited)

Hey beautiful peeps hope you all are well. I am back with art, I mostly try to make paper crafts and some offline stuff but today for the first time I tried digital art too.

I made abstract art with geometric shapes that I made because my friend suggested me to try it, I tried abstract art for the first time but I forgot to take screenshots to post it. It was something that disappointed me a lot, almost 3 hours of work was wasted, even though it wasn't that great and perfect but still being a human I felt a little pain in my heart somewhere.

My first-ever abstract art

And with a heavy heart, I decided to do paper craft again this Sunday. I accepted my failure, oh I really did.

This morning I had 4 classes in a row so I thought I wouldn't even be able to make paper crafts. But when I came home I got some extra energy and also found my brother's laptop 100% charged.

I shuffled my tiny steps over to the computer table a voice was ringing in my ear "You lose when you admit defeat", I opened my Google and wow, I found an idea.

My inspiration for this art.

Material

  • Laptop
  • Software (Paints 3d)

I started by making a square and a Cross sign in the middle of the square, I took a square of almost 9 inches.

Fill the squares with some other lines inside of the two lines we have drawn before, Oh yeah you have to make a net.

Lines can confuse you, but the simplest thing you need to do is draw horizontal lines and vertical lines between all the net in the form so that it looks like the line is making crosses.

When you are done with drawing lines too, it's a simple step again. You just have to put some lines again to form a design. But this time you had something for a hint like look at the boxes you already have lines in all these boxes follow the line pattern and start drawing. Draw horizontal lines where the box has horizontal lines and draw vertical lines where you have verticle lines.
Confused? Ohh no when you'll try it you'll find it so easy.

Note: My image had some mistakes but till the end of the blog you'll find out the solution, so try not to get confused😅.

.

I tried shading along with lines but it'll confuse you try to draw all lines before moving toward the colouring part.

The image above is when I was done with almost half of my work and I was so tired. The lines glitch I did, was also irritating me but I continued,...

Here is the image of when I was almost done, If you look closely you'll find some glitches but the main glitch was the one on top. Now in my case, I had two solutions, first to erase the lines with the eraser which will take too much time because there is no such option to select and delete on Paints 3d and the second option is to hide the glitch with my touch.
So I went for the second option.

I wanted something like this, first I thought to make a rainbow to hide the glitch, but after trying a little I found out a rainbow would not cover it up. So I made this.

So here I was done with covering up the mess and I had also drawn the lines for making a pattern.

Added some extra lines to make the pattern look more attractive, and here my design was all done but wait I wanted a rainbow effect...

To get the rainbow effect I thought to add some colours to the pattern I made in skin colour, so I started filling them one by one.

Ahh it was the final result when I was done with the rainbow design but I really just felt like this design was not so perfect even the colour combination was also not satisfying me.

I asked someone to suggest to me which one is good enough to share as the final result and he told me that there is no place to rest the gaze and both sides are catching eyes attention. You can also make a focusing point where someone will see for rest. I noted his point but didn't change the design as it was my 2nd most art and still there is a lot to learn and there is a lot in the journey of doing the best.

I would love it if someone rate this out and also give me some suggestions to improve it.

Hey, @hadianoor! I'm a huge fan of abstract art. Your progress from scratch is truly commendable. In the first image you shared, consider using a color scheme with hidden meanings, like using only black, white, green, and red, each representing something significant. Explaining the meaning in your post would help viewers understand your perspective better.

For the second abstract art, using black and white can symbolize daily life's repetitive nature, but beneath it lies a colorful world representing variety and exploration. Alternatively, it could signify uncovering hidden truths or finding happiness in simplicity.

I find abstract art fascinating because of the hidden meanings within them. Given your recent start in abstract art, I look forward to seeing more pieces from you with deeper hidden meanings. Thanks for creating such beautiful artwork!

Thanks for the lovely comment on my post, your keen insight into abstract art already shows how much you love it... About colour theory, I'll go into detail about colours next time, all colours have their own science, some are fresh but some are warm, some make you feel fresh but others make you dull... Ahh the long science behind colors.
Haha, I would love to share more pieces like this after adding perfection in my work and make you think of the story behind them.

If u noticed, the above colour scheme was of Palestine flag which I explained. Just using colours from a fixed ruleset adds meaning to art too.

Oh I see I didn't notice it but yeah it is the Palestine flag's colours, I'm still so new to this art but will learn it very soon...
Actually, I wasn't aware of color science in abstract art, but got to know about it now, and now I'll focus on it too.

Wow..... Wow
Its just incredible. You know from long time I am trying to be draw, sketch anything but I am procrastinating. Can I ask which app did you use? So that I can also make abstract art or any other art !

I just used simple paints 3d for doing this because i already had the sketch in my mind and i already knew that only geometrical shapes will also work perfectly for my art so i didn't wasted my time on searching software but in future I'll find one good software and I'll tell you too😁

Thanks for your love towards my art😂😁
