Preparations for the month of Ramadan and my Market Friday

avatar

Hello Friends,

Today is Friday, the 29th day of the lockdown. It has been almost a month since our captive life. How fast time passes, whether it is sad or happy. However, it is true that the times of sorrow seem too big for us. According to the Bangladesh Department of Health, 4689 people have been infected with the corona virus and a total of 131 people have died. It is very sad for us. Because no one wants to lose their loved ones, no matter how hard it is, people try to survive with their loved ones.

However, Ramadan Mubarak is supposed to start in our country from tomorrow, if the moon of the month of Ramadan is seen in the sky of our country today. Due to which I went to the market today to prepare for the month of Ramadan and to buy some essentials. Although the lockdown is still going on in our city, but still I have seen a lot of people in the local market, all of whom are coming to buy goods on the occasion of the month of Ramadan. That is why I have said before that no matter how difficult the law is, it will be forced to comply with the requirements.

Although I was not out for a long time, because today's sky is bright in the morning, but in a very short time it becomes cloudy again and it rains for a while. I returned home before it started to rain. I am sharing with you some photography of today's Market Friday-

First I went to the vegetable market, because at the moment the price of vegetables is going up due to the lockdown. Moreover, there is a practice in our country that traders actually increase the price of goods during the month of Ramadan. Although it is bad from a religious point of view, no one still cares.

Then I went to the fish market, although there were two fish shops in the local market, because of which I did not like all the fish that were there, although there was no alternative. I bought two kinds of fish from there, but yes these were also more expensive.

However, due to the lockdown, the authorities have given the opportunity to keep the necessary goods stores open for a certain period of time, people are trying to buy everything quickly. This is why I noticed a lot of people around when I went to the market. Although I have noticed a trend among everyone, everyone is trying to move at a certain distance. In front of each store there is a mark for positioning at a certain distance. Honestly, maintaining social distance is the most important thing for us now.

For your information #MarketFriday is a great initiative of @dswigle. Hope you enjoyed my Friday market.

It was a wonderful post and most curious to see how different countries are handling the pandemic at this time. I agree that social distancing is key at this time and it is disappointing to see the markets taking advantage of the times, even the holidays. But, honestly, they all do it.

The produce looks so fresh there! As you say, the fish, you have no choice and I am sure people are fishing less and the transport... just everything. I hope you got everything that was needed for Ramadan!

Ramadan Kareem!!

It is always a pleasure to see you join #MarketFriday. It is because of people like yourself that the challenge has become a success. There are times that it is so difficult to get a post together, to put so much effort when you have so little time. There is a certain sense of warmth in my heart, and it is that of being thankful.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
