From real photograph to artwork

Greetings to ecenciens and other hive users!

After a while, I am going to be a part of Creative Sunday again. Last time, I made a drawing of a bird from a photograph that I had taken myself, which you all liked a lot. So yesterday, while sitting randomly, I saw this butterfly, which I took a picture of. Today, while looking for a similar picture in my gallery, I saw this one, so I made a drawing of it.

My Drawing Process

I made outline of butterfly with simple pencil i made her body with edges because of real image giving that image to my eyes.

Then i add details in the outline i made. For details i add lining in her body made her abdomen and face prominent.

After this, i make outline again in neat way and remove the previous one with many details in it. I decide to add details later to this drawing.

I use color mangenda as my reference image contain to verify the identity of real butterfly i make my art looks like real one i am not 3d artist that i make perfect artwork.

I do many mistakes in this drawwing i know. This is not looking like the image of reference you can say i invent new butterfly 🦋 No worries, my daughter laugh at my drawings too. This is my entry for creative Sunday i hope it's worth to accept as entry in creative Sunday contest. I will make better one need weeek.
