Disfrutar de conciertos gratis no es una experiencia que se viva todos los días, ¿verdad? Bueno, si vives en algunas ciudades grandes o que les guste mucho la cultura musical y la promuevan, probablemente si vayas estos conciertos más seguido.
Esto es algo que me gusta demasiado de la ciudad donde vivo, Bogotá. Esta ciudad es tan grande, diversa y cultural, que podrás disfrutar no solo de conciertos, también de teatro, cine, arte y mucha cultura junto con cosas interesantes para descubrir. Este fin de semana se realizó uno de los habituales conciertos al aire libre gratis que se hacen cada año.
Este festival se llama Jazz Al Parque, y como su nombre lo dice, es un espacio para esta música que es tan genial. Realmente no solo se toca jazz tradicional, también hay grupos que tocan fusión, y estilos de la música colombiana, rock, entre otros. Este festival trae muchos artistas internacionales, por lo cual pudimos escuchar propuestas cargadas de flamenco por parte de los españoles, combinaciones como el funk y la música cubana, y hasta sonidos totalmente electrónicos distintivos de la escena europea.
Este festival dura dos días, en un parque adecuado para estos eventos, El Country. Me gusta la locación porque es un lugar tranquilo y además me queda cerca a casa, hasta te puedes ir caminando si quieres. Hay ciertas desventajas como por ejemplo, solo tiene una entrada de acceso y salida, así que para eventos de esta magnitud, se complica bastante entrar y salir. Independientemente de esto, es un plan excelente para ir con amigos, familia, mascotas y todos los fanáticos de la música.
Fui ambos días, sábado y domingo. El sábado solo fui con dos amigos más, y la pasamos genial, aquí están en la foto. Los grupos y artistas nos hicieron vivir grandes momentos, cantamos, bailamos y saltamos. A mí me encanta la música en vivo, por lo cual siempre estaré con la mejor energía. El día domingo más amigos se unieron a este plan y la pasamos muy bien. Lo malo es que el clima de esta ciudad y muy impredecible, en la tarde tuvimos demasiado sol y calor, pero en las horas de la noche, cayó un aguacero que quedamos todos empapados. Sin embargo, la gente fue muy firme y la lluvia no nos espantó y nos quedamos hasta el final, cosa que el artista principal agradeció mucho.
Realmente estas salidas me gustan mucho, todo lo que sea de buena música, baile y amigos, me tendrán allí con su compañía. ¿Cuéntenme, les gustan los conciertos?

Enjoying free concerts is not an experience you get to have every day, is it? Well, if you live in some big cities or cities that like music culture a lot and promote it, you will probably go to these concerts more often.
I like this very much about the city where I live, Bogotá. This city is so big, diverse, and cultural, that you can enjoy not only concerts but also theatre, cinema, art, and a lot of culture and interesting things to discover. This weekend was one of the usual free open-air concerts that take place every year.
This festival is called Jazz Al Parque, and as the name says, it is a space for this music that is so great. There is not only traditional jazz but also fusion bands, Colombian music styles, and rock, among others. This festival brought many international artists, so we were able to hear flamenco-laden proposals from the Spanish, combinations such as funk and Cuban music, and even totally electronic sounds distinctive from the European scene.
This festival lasts two days, in a park suitable for these events, El Country. I like the location because it's a quiet place, and it's close to home, you can even walk there if you want. There are certain disadvantages, for example, it only has one entrance and exit, so for events of this magnitude, it is quite complicated to get in and out. Regardless of this, it's a great place to go with friends, family, pets, and all music fans.
I went on both Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday I only went with two other friends, and we had a great time, here they are in the photo. The bands and artists made us live great moments, we sang, danced and jumped. I love live music, so I will always be with the best energy. On Sunday, more friends joined us and we had a great time. The bad thing is that the weather in this city is very unpredictable, in the afternoon we had too much sun and heat, but in the evening hours, there was a downpour and we were all soaked. However, the people didn't let the rain ruin the concert and the rain didn't scare us away, and we stayed until the end, which the main artist was very grateful for.
