NEEDLEWORK MONDAY::: DIY ON HOW I MAKE A OPEN AND CLOSE SOLE FOR A MUSLIM CLERIC.

Good day
hello needlework community
I will like to drop post on the community for my needlework lovers to read and comment, its been a while dropping post on their community,I wish to appreciate all posters of this community, needlework is one of the best and my favorite community among all.
Today's post will base on Muslim cleric who is confused on which style or pattern of footwear to do,He mostly wear a copper palm which look like an old fashion style but this time around he came to my shop requesting a fashion palm to suprise his students at Islamic school.I was confuse on which pattern to make for him but unfortunately I decided to make a cover palm for his which he really love when the work is done.
HOW I MADE THE PALM AND MATERIAL USED.
MATERIALS
Open and close sole
Wetloose design leather
A thick leather
Double G logo
PROCESS WITH STEPS
STEP ONE
Cut out your cover palm with a piece of paper and trace using a pen on the wetloose design leather and cut using your scissors,Now we will need to linen the upper to make it thicker before moving to our sewing machine.
Sew the edge's of the leather in a folded pattern and trim the edge's with a scissors before moving to the lasting step

STEP TWO
This is the step where we will apply gum to the upper sewed and the insole of the open and close sole then we will use our wooden last to set to client size.
Apply gum to both the Sole and the lasted upper and gum both together when dry,

The FOOTWEAR IS READY TO BE DELIVERED TO THE MUSLIM CLERIC TO WEAR TO HIS ISLAMIC SCHOOL.
AFTER DELIVERING THE FOOTWEAR FOR HIM,HE WAS SO HAPPY AND PRAY FOR ME AS A CLERIC.
