I have a question. I've been getting POB tokens. At the moment I sold them. I was also learning how to operate the market. I lost some of them in the process by sending them rather than withdrawing them. A learning process..
What is the benefit of holding onto PoB tokens?
What do they do, how can they be used, how do they help?
If I know these things I may not be so quick to convert them. I was using steemit before communities appeared and tokens. I haven't really caught on to actual use cases for the tokens.
Is there any reason I shouldn't convert them?
There is a long potential debate about the usefulness of such Tokens and Communities.
POB is currently hyped because of the price action and the high curation rewards you get for voting with POB staked. I currently have 1000 POB staked and my vote is worth around 2 POB. Which means I should get an average curation reward of 1 POB per vote per day, which means 7$ a day for voting, great deal so far.
Proof of brain is exploding because it has a nice name and some cool Tokenomics, ie it started all with one POB that got inflated. There is also a hard cap at 21 Million Coins like it is for BTC. The downside are a lot of Brazilians are active on the tag :D.
Personally I go with about a fifty/fifty split of staking my POB rewards and cashing them out into Hive.
50/50 is pretty much what I am doing also. i would like to build my staked balance to help with reward distribution and of course curation return, but I also have a few other tokens I am trying to obtain, so the extra 50% gets converted and I buy other tokens.

POB tokens are all about POB community.
With holding more POB tokens, you will have more POB curation power. You don't need to sell them, You keep them. More the tokens you have, bigger the say you will have in community.

Hi. Please remove the tag. I have said I will help with curation more than 2 weeks ago and did it to the other post last week I believe. I'm tagging BHT since they "opened", even won one of their contests I think, and did an NFT from them when they started, just like I did 3 for POB at the beginning. Nothing new under the sun. I'm not completely out of POB. And BHT is not another "nest"...hehe! Hugs!
