Hey everyone, I am new here and so happy to join you guys.

My name is Osinlaru Ayotunde, I’m a from Ogere remo, ogun state Nigeria. I’m a student of Electrical and electronics engineering though I’m still doing my research on my which university to study.

I was introduced to HIVE by my Brother and I find it really interesting, Thanks to you @valchiz for inviting me on here.

My hobbies are Playing football online,I’m not so good on foot lol.I also like cleaning, I like graphics designs and anything related to computer with cool pictures with good quality,I’m here to entertain and make new friends.

Back in my secondary school days, I wanted to study Electrical installation, but my Dad said Business or computer science was the best since the school I attended was a technical college so you could learn different things from there. I wasn’t happy about it, later on while registering to get in the school, my paper work was selected to be in the Electrical installation department because I had good grades in my tech subjects. The school I attended was Government technical college Agidingbi Lagos. I was so happy I was selected to the department I wanted, I enjoyed my time in the school, Life is all about technology now.

Now, talking about how blogging is going to be of help to me.

I was sceptical at first because I was enlighten enough to know there are ways or things one can engage in that can help one financially, have never blogged before and have never see a free to use platform one can earn from except one investment. Even though am still young, investing in platforms have taking a toil on me which make it hard to believe in things until I check the platform out. I was amazed when I made the research and saw a lot which I am trying to understand bit by bit from what hive is, the hp, hbd section even saw the internal market part.

I also learnt there are lot of things we can engage in and not just blogging alone, I was surprised when I saw the dapps section, It was clear at first until I fully understands they are decentralized application built on hive, I will have to find the one I will engage in.

Joining Hive is going to help me in so many ways, learning how to analyze and think in a higher level, putting down things I understand probably, building my mind. It’s also going to be a means of earning to me while I build up my finance life, I’ll be able to meet new people/friends with experience of; life, school, technology and all other things to learn from them on Hive. Really glad to be on Hive

Hello @haryhor! This is @chillwithshanna from @ocd (Original Content Decentralized) team. Congratulations on making your first post on Hive and welcome to this amazing community!

We have a lot of Communities you can subscribe to which are all categorized based on interest or topics. Share your blogs there to have a wider range of audience or you can check out the Communities Incubation Program.

Also, letting you know since content on the Hive platform is monetized, using other people’s ideas or images could be considered as an offense and which is also viewed in a serious light on the blockchain. Here is a useful collection of resources about how plagiarism and abuse is viewed and handled on Hive.
Happy Blogging!

Hello Osinlaru
Hello on this mighty fine day and nice to meet you! I found your account because I got a message you are new, and because the beginning can be difficult I swung by with some tips.

You took the step to become a blogger and that’s great. I like to welcome you to the Hive blockchain and platform. A very extensive platform of fun and words.

As of now you are a hiver or newBee as we are calling ourselves. This moment is perfect to give some tips and help you get started.

Also maybe you used the #introduceyourself tag and more hivers come with tips and tricks so the first steps won’t be that difficult. Still take your time because we are so diverse it will take some time to understand and earn.

I was welcomed with good advice too when I started so here I am just returning the favour. I know that Hive may seem very overwhelming right now but don't worry. After a few blogs and write ups you will be a great blogger and contributor, just stay away from texts that aren’t yours.

A great tip is getting discord. Discord will for sure help you and get you talking to other hivers without going to comments on blogs. It’s free and quick and alongside hive very helpful to have. If you don’t have discord already view this blog:

If that’s is not your wish and you have any questions just ask your questions on any of my blog posts and I'll be more than happy to assist you with whatever questions you may have! I may know the answer. If not I will for sure know a hiver who does know the answer

Very important is to never give up any off your passwords , they are yours! Never give them up!!

To blog I use Peakd and Ecency .
Ecency also has an App , I use it and it is great, it gives you insight on what is happening in your account, and on my phone I am never behind on the things I want to see or read.

App is available for free for iOS and android.
For discord Ecency here is your free invite:

https://discord.gg/SgNGwCMV

Maybe great to also join the terminal , the newbie help channel in Discord :

https://discord.gg/PqDE5kTp

and visit @heyhaveyamet to visit more newcomers that onboarded hive.

That was it for now, Good Luck, Have fun and I wish you loads of writingsuccess on hive and see you around ! :)

GREETZ
Britt
