Leo Messi Making People Rich (Me Included)

Ever since Leonel Messi leaving FC Barcelona became a confirmed information, rumors about him recieving offers from different clubs has spread. One club was said to have the biggest chances of recruting him, though. That one club was definitely PSG (Paris Saint Germain), the club where his friend Neymar plays now.

This being just a possibility did not stop the PSG token from rising significantly. Then there were news of a an invitation to Paris for Messi to officially discuss the terms of his possible next contract. That, too, made the token grow higher in calue.

All this happened before I bought any PSG tokens, the token that can be used to buy the club's products from its shop. My cousin was keeping an eye on it for a while and he told me about its growth this sunday at noon. The price back then was about $37. I didn't buy at once because we were too busy at the time.

When I went home that evening, the price has exceeded 41$. I told my cousin we should buy immidiately. And so we did.

Next morning it was worth $51+ and with news of Messi's meeting with the club that day, we were expecting further growth, so we HODLed 😁.

The meeting did not happed on Monday, neither did the awaited "pump", so the price kept fluctuating. There was no guarantee that an agreement would be reached soon but the idea of Messi and Neymar playing together again kept the money flowing and the price rising more than it's falling.

Today it was announced officially that a contract worth £25M ($34.6M) will be signed soon. Now the token's price is 57$ and rising. The fans are talking about a possible $150.

I can't wait to see what will happen when the token will be used to buy Leonel Messi's new T-shirts.
