Una pregunta recurrente que me han hecho varios compañeros con quienes llevo un trato más personal y cercano es el asunto de los “votos”, que cuando creo que se irá a resolver “el asunto de la curación”. No llevo mucho tiempo en HIVE y SWC; sin embargo, ha sido muy gratificante ganarse el cariño y la confianza de personas a la que les apasiona lo mismo que a ti (al punto de preguntarme algo que desde él vamos debo dejar claro que no me siento en la facultad de responder). Algo en mí siente que la mayoría de nosotros entiende que estamos trabajando por algo realmente grande, importante e inédito en la historia del deporte y el street workout en nuestro país, (ni hablar de las proyecciones que tienen un alcance global). Pensar que “somos una familia” me da algo de urticaria, porque no soy necesariamente un sujeto muy cariñoso. Pero con el concepto de “apego evitativo” que anda muy de moda, tal vez puedas entender que si me siento muy a gusto en la comunidad y que a pesar de que no siempre estás de acuerdo con todo el mundo, la idea de lograr un consenso en pro de un beneficio comunitario y grande, es realmente genial y está estrechamente relacionado con la filosofía de #HIVE. Ni siquiera tengo que caerte bien como para saber y entender eso. Quizás no le caiga bien a muchos, y eso está bien. Porque así funciona el mundo real y las relaciones humanas.

No quiero que me malentiendas, de hecho quizás estas palabras puedan ayudar a alguien, no lo sé. Y sí, todos somos felices por los incentivos que recibimos a través de la generación de contenido. Pero es importante también entender que ninguna cuenta está “obligada a votarnos”, tampoco considero pertinente ahondar en los motivos por los cuales alguien vota o no. Porque estamos en un sistema económico y al igual que el mundo real, los intereses pueden variar y medirse por la objetividad o la subjetividad. Que sí, que lo mismo me importa un bledo tu parada de manos o tu plancha, eso también puede suceder, y mis pocos seguidores en Instagram son una prueba fehaciente de esa melancólica realidad. 😂 Hay que hacer las pases con la posibilidad de ser rechazado, siempre latente.

Gracias al éxito de #SWC constantemente nos vemos atacados por personas que nada tienen que ver con nosotros y el street workout, por comentarios desagradables y alegóricos desde la web 2, y que obviamente el algoritmo de “X” te recomienda gracias a la palabra clave “HIVE”, y cuando piensas que es algo positivo y de mucho valor, luego te consigues con un abrazo de mercurio y toxicidad que hacen que surja en ti o en mí el deseo de responder con la misma moneda. Y quizás lo más lógico es entender que una persona muy joven responda desde las vísceras, pero si estás algo mayor, tal vez deberías estar dándole amor a tu familia en vez de meterte con chicos y un proyecto que intentan promover un estilo de vida deportivo y sano, en internet siempre hay cosas muy raras. Gracias a Dios no nos hemos visto afectados en gran medida por la mezquindad de una minoría. Aunque no puedo terminar de entenderlo, no me gusta el futbol, pero no ando atacando a quienes sí les gusta el futbol. ¿Por qué me detuve aquí? Ah, sí, el asunto de la monetización y los votos... Ok.

¿Empezamos este año 2024 con muchas dudas? Puede ser. Pero también con muchas metas por cumplir y un deseo enorme de seguir participando en la comunidad. Los beneficios van más allá de la recompensa por nuestros post. Hay un montón de gente que cree en nosotros, y que pretende empoderarnos cada vez más como comunidad. Algo seguro es que seguiremos creciendo, y que eventualmente lo que hoy nos parece un trago amargo mañana se transformará en una buena cosecha. Llámalo resiliencia si quieres, yo lo entiendo como “aguantar vaina” y superar los obstáculos. Ante cualquier barrera o distracción lo mejor será responder con trabajo. ¿Viste Taxi Driver? ¿No?, pues deberías… En fin... Hay una escena en la que Travis, el protagonista, está muy desorientado y entonces le pide un consejo a su compañero de gremio y este le da un discurso sobre el trabajo que siento que, por solo esa línea, la película merecía un Grammy a mejor guion. Mira Taxi Driver, peliculom. Por si ten interesa el cine motivacional. 🤣

Esto no es una solución, son unas palabras de aliento. Que lo mismo no moralizan ni a los de El Llano, o que lo mismo te conmueven un poco y te invitan a seguir activo en la creación de contenido para la comunidad y para tu blog.

No me gusta hacer cierres en plan telenovela mexicana. Porque yo quiero seguir viendo que es lo que viene después. ¡Muéstrame el día después de la boda! Trabajemos por ese día después en el que veamos, incluso contra corriente si es necesario, el crecimiento de una comunidad que va por más. No dejes que este periodo de “vacas flacas” te impida llevarte la membresía oro y un lugar importante en las estadísticas.

But with the concept of "avoidant attachment" being all the rage, maybe you can understand that I do feel very much at home in the community and that even though you may not always agree with everyone, the idea of reaching a consensus for a large, communal benefit is really cool and closely related to HIVE's philosophy. You don't even have to like me to know and understand that. Maybe many people don't like me, and that's okay. Because that's how the real world and human relationships work.

I don't want you to misunderstand me, in fact maybe these words can help someone, I don't know. And yes, we are all happy for the incentives we receive through content generation. But it is also important to understand that no account is "forced to vote for us", I also don't consider it pertinent to delve into the reasons why someone votes or not. Because we are in an economic system and just like the real world, interests can vary and be measured by objectivity or subjectivity. That yes, I don't give a damn about your handstand or your full planche, that can also happen, and my few followers on Instagram are proof positive of that melancholic reality. 🤣 You have to make passes at the ever-latent possibility of rejection.

Thanks to the success of #SWC we are constantly attacked by people who have nothing to do with us and the street workout, by unpleasant and allegorical comments from the web 2, and that obviously the algorithm of "X" recommends you thanks to the keyword "HIVE", and when you think it is something positive and of great value, then you get a hug of mercury and toxicity that make the desire to respond in you or me with the same coin. And maybe the most logical thing is to understand that a very young person responds from the gut, but if you are a little older, maybe you should be giving love to your family instead of messing with guys and a project that try to promote a sporty and healthy lifestyle, on the internet there are always very weird things. Thank goodness we are largely unaffected by the pettiness of a minority. Although I can't quite figure it out, I don't like soccer, but I don't go around attacking those who do like soccer. Why did I stop here? Ah, yes, the issue of monetization and votes? Ok.

Are we starting this year 2024 with a lot of doubts? Maybe. But also with many goals to accomplish and a huge desire to continue participating in the community. The benefits go beyond the reward for our posts. There are a lot of people who believe in us, and who intend to empower us more and more as a community. One thing for sure is that we will continue to grow, and that eventually what seems like a bitter pill to swallow today will turn into a good harvest. Call it resilience if you want, I understand it as "holding on" and overcoming obstacles. In the face of any barrier or distraction, the best thing to do is to respond with work. This is not a solution, these are words of encouragement. Maybe they don't moralize even to those from the plain, or maybe they move you a little and invite you to continue being active in the creation of content for the community and for your blog.

I don't like to close like a Mexican soap opera. Because I still want to see what comes next. Show me the day after the wedding! Let's work for that day after in which we see, even against the current if necessary, the growth of a community that goes for more.
