Cheers to the crypto Twitter that charges no fee to get contents posted rather users get paid for posting contents...No other than the almighty #leothreads taking over and gaining grounds. Most people have been complaining about the recent policy by Elon Musk who first indicated that users with the blue badge on Twitter have to pay a $20 fine every month to maintain that tick. Not yearly but monthly, I guess after much ado he brought it down to $8 and that is approximately #6400 in the naira.

Considering the decentralized nature of the leothreads I, as a person will find it hard to pay extra cash just 5o enjoy some benefits. He listed the benefits of been verified as possibility to post long videos, priorities in replies, mention and search and so on. The only people that would would want to subscribe to this idea are those that use it for monetary gain, like content creators and brand ambassadors

This would bring about a competition because people would definitely prefer a platform where they can microblog and still earn rewards. Thus, the web 2 platform has decided to monetize its services to the people

It's interesting how things are going in Twitter. I wonder if people are willing to shell out 8 bucks a month for that badge. Threads is definitely the place to be.
