MAKING A SIMPLE BUT CASUAL UNDERWEAR FOR A DRESS (CUSTOMER)

It's a new year and one must get busy with activities to keep the mind and body active while making so extra cool money. Although I forgot to snap the finishing part but this was an easy project as it did not require using an extra lining to achieve the result.

The above is a lay out of the material, ready for measurements and necessary cutting. It is folded into 4' by length of 54' and width of 60,but the person who own the dress is a little but chubby.

Subsequently, I mark out the bodice by measuring out the arm hole and the neck no need for shaping because it is meant to be free. This type of underwear is worn under dress that are transparent or have fish holes in them. The color are made to match.

So after cutting, it was time for the needle work, thus I used a manual sewing machine to achieve this. First, I joined the shoulders and the sides before I use another material to turn up the neck and the armhole

That was me turning the edges with another material.

Finally, the final phase of the gown was to also turn up the edges of the down part. Unfortunately I didn't snall the full gown maybe because the customer did not try it on since it is a free dress. Most times I make dresses I forget to take pictures for blogging that why I have not been making posts in this community. May 2023 bless us with more loyal customers🙏.
