Nigeria is a country rich in resources, antiques, and attractive landscapes that serve as a tourism hub for visitors from all over the world. And as a Nigerian citizen, I have a list of destinations I want to visit in the near future, some of which I dreamed of as a child and others with which I have fallen in love as an adult. "Akwa Ibom" and "Olumo Rock", the latter of which is a tourism center, are two of my favorite places I'd like to visit in the future. I adore these places because of their natural beauty, their rarity among their peers, and their vibe.

AKWA-IBOM STATE
Akwa Ibom state is one of the 36 states in Nigeria created in 1987 by one of Nigeria’s military head of state, Ibrahim Babangida.

Akwa Ibom is a state blessed with so many amenities, it is the highest oil and gas producing state in Nigeria, and its blessed with an airport, two major seaports on the Atlantis Ocean, a 30,000 seat stadium (my dream arena – which I always want to visit, watch the Super Eagles of Nigeria play football there and enjoy the atmosphere), an information centre (Ibom E-Library).

I was resolved to visit the state in 2018, and the reason was that I had an uncle who worked there at the time. He was a member of the corps before moving permanently in Ede and was a student at the Federal Polytechnic Ede. And because it is required of all students to complete an Industrial Training (IT), I chose to conduct mine in Akwa Ibom, but it did not work out. That saddened me so much. My brother and sister traveled to see our uncle there later that year, spending four months enjoying the state, and it's irritating to wait for news rather than experiencing things firsthand. I'm disappointed that I wasn't the one who went there.

If I ever had the opportunity to visit the state, the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, which was compared to the Allianz Arena Stadium in terms of design and originality, will be my first stop. It has a 30,000-person capacity and cost NGN16 billion in Nigerian money.

OLUMO ROCK
Olumo Rock is a peak that served as a natural fortification for the Egbas during the 19th century tribal conflict.

It is one of Nigeria's most popular tourist destinations, drawing visitors from all over the world. According to Yoruba language, "Olu" means "God" and "mo" means "moulded". I would like to visit the place as soon as possible, as I am getting closer to doing so now that I am studying in Abeokuta. My school has a little replica of the Olumo rock, which is placed at THE MOTION GROUND, which is the most popular spot on campus.

Have got to tell you up front, that it is sum that keeps them beautiful, seeing their beauty alone will affect your pocket, not to talk of having their back on the ground which I hope you don't intend to. Two things are possibly going to happen if you visit Calabar because of our girls, it's either you loose what you came with or you go back with something you did not come with.
