CCC's Street Art Contest #61, Benny Wilding & Monk.E, Montreal

As I don't want to forget to post my participation this week, I post as soon as possible 😀. So, here my entry for the CCC's Street Art Contest #61 with a great collaboration between Benny Wilding and Monk.E (two regulars of my Street Art posts) with this wall :

Comme je ne veux pas oublier de poster ma participation cette semaine, je poste en début de semaine. Alors voilà mon entrée pour la 61ème édition CCC's Street Art Contest avec une superbe collaboration entre Benny Wilding et Monk.E (deux habitués de mes posts Street Art) avec ce superbe mur :

If you follow my blog, you know the guy but a reminder for the new ones 😀... Benny Wilding (also Cemz or Ether) discovered street art during a trip to New York at the age of 12 in the mid-90s, influenced by the spray-painted walls all over the city. He returned to Montreal to devote himself to street art. He started in 1997 as Cemz in writing. Often, his style combines Pop Art & cartoons with a great writing of his name, true contrast between them. This series is about another part of his art with this fake signs.

Si vous suivez mon compte, vous connaissez le gars mais un petit rappel pour les nouveux... 😀 Benny Wilding (également Cemz ou Ether) a découvert le Street Art lors d'un voyage à New York à l'âge de 12 ans au milieu des années 90, admiratif devant les murs peints. Il est revenu à Montréal pour s'y consacrer aussi. Il a commencé en 1997 sous le nom de Cemz pour le lettrage. Souvent, son style combine Pop Art & cartoons avec une grande écriture de son nom, véritable contraste entre les deux.

Monk.E

His biography doesn't change. Monk.E is a Canadian street-artist and musician, he defines himself as an Alchimiographist. He started graffiti with the K6A crew. Since Monk.E imposes his artistic vision all around the world in music and painting.

Sa biographie ne change pas. Monk.E est un artiste et musicien Hip-Hop canadien se définissant lui-même comme un Alchimiographiste (j'aime beaucoup le terme). Il commença le graffiti en fondant le collectif K6A. Depuis Monk.E a partagé sa vision artistique partout dans le monde.
