Sticker Art #027 Montreal

avatar

And here is this week's series on stickers encountered on the Montreal' streets . I am always amazed at the creativity of artists on this medium. I discover some every day, most of the time I have to pass several times in the same place to finally see them. 😀

Unknown / Inconnu

654 - Inconnu Parc Jean Mance.jpg

At Jeanne Mance Park, I really like this sticker not because of the subject but because of its camouflage. It's always locateed on the red background signs. Hard to see.
Au Parc Jeanne Mance, j'aime beaucoup ce sticker pas à cause du sujet mais de son camouflage. Il se trouve toujours sur les panneaux de signalisation à fond rouge. Difficile à voir.

Art9

Art9 is a street artist whose signature is this cat in all forms from tag to sticker. And I also really like the butt-head sticker on top on the left pic.

Sticker are fun medium. Their placement becomes part of the art like the red background Mona Lisa. I really like Louis Letters kind of evokes Mayan characters

Mona is really well hidden, I think I passed her several times without seeing her.

Great finds @heroldius
I like the first one, almost maya figures in there… ancient civilisations.
Very cool. 😎

I found quite some stickers lately but have no idea whose they are.
Maybe I bundle them together. As some are pretty cool.
Have a great Saturday 👋🏻

Yep many stickers but very difficult to write a coherent post : by artist but difficult to find several stickers from the same artist. By theme for example tattooist... I haven't yet found the ideal formula. I'll look at how you're going to present your finds as you make quality posts that will be interesting and maybe give me some ideas 😀

Yes, it is difficult to put them together like you said.
Thanks! I will do my best @heroldius 😎 will see how I can fit them nicely together. 😁
