As I mentioned in StreetArt #605, the ArtGang boutique on Saint-Laurent Boulevard has been given a makeover especially for the Mural Festival, which runs from June 8 to June 18. The wall leading to Graffiti Alley has been repainted with great lettering and characters.

Comme je vous en parlais dans StreetArt #605, la boutique ArtGang sur le boulevard Saint-Laurent s'est refait une beauté spécialement pour le Mural Festival qui se déroule du 8 juin au 18 juin. Le mur allant vers la Graffiti Alley a été refait avec quelques lettrages et personnages :

The rather funky guy on the right with the following lettering was done by Timer, just at the entrance to Graffiti Alley. / FR : Le gars plutôt funky sur la droite avec le lettrage qui suit a été fait par Timer, juste à l'entrée de la Graffiti Alley.

WHERE

In the alley right next to ArtGang (clothes, beer and art - I like that mix 😀) that leads to Graffiti Alley in Montreal.

Dans la ruelle qui se trouve juste à côté du magasin ArtGang (habits, bières et art - j'aime bien ce mix 😀 ) qui mène vers la Graffiti Alley.

WHO

Timer

Timer is a Montreal-based artist and tattooist with the Deville tattoo salon on Papineau Street. He took part in the Under Pressure festival in 2020, see StreetArt #340. The character is well done, as is the lettering. I like the style.

Timer est un artiste et tatoueur basé à Montréal avec le salon Deville tattoo sur la rue Papineau. Il avait participé au festival Under Pressure en 2020, voir StreetArt #340. Le personnage est vraiment réussi comme le lettrage.

Great letters / Superbes lettres

Senck

The famous All's Good in its green version by Senck, also a Montreal-based artist and member of ArtGang. I'd dropped by earlier this week, purely by chance, and there were the first lines of Senck and Snipes lettering.

Le fameux All's Good dans sa version verte de Senck, artiste aussi basé à Montréal et membre du ArtGang. J'étais passé en début de semaine par pur hasard, et il y avait les premières lignes des lettrages de Senck et Snipes.

Alex Snipes

Alex Snipes aka Snipes, also a member of ArtGang, often paints with his friend Senck. Their pieces can often be found side by side or in a 4-handed collaboration.

Alex Snipes, aussi membre du ArtGang peint souvent avec son ami Senck. On retrouve souvent leurs pièces côte à côte ou alors une œuvre à 4 mains.

Snipes & Senck (ArtGang)

And at the beginning of the alley, there was (I'm speaking in the past tense because it's just been erased to give Graffiti Alley new style during the Mural Festival) this lettering done by Senck and Snipes in early spring. Even the back wall of ArtGang is painted. Cool.

Et au début de la ruelle, il y avait (je parle au passé car elle vient de se faire effacer pour donner une nouvelle vie à la Graffiti Alley pendant le Mural Festival) ce lettrage réalisé par Senck et Snipes au début du printemps. Même le mur arrière du magasin ArtGang est peint. Cool.

Just to let you know, ArtGang is a collective founded in 2006 by a group of friends. They opened a store in 2010 to sell Street Art related items and an Art Gallery. The Artgang brand was officially created in 2014.

Juste pour info, ArtGang est un collectif fondé en 2006 par des amis. Ils ont ouvert une boutique en 2010 afin de vendre des objets liés au Street Art et une Galerie d'art. La marque Artgang a été officiellement créée en 2014.
