Street Art #881 Wynwood Miami Part II : Quake & Hiero
In the StreetArt series, we're spending a few days (or even a few weeks) in the Wynwood neighborhood of Miami. Today, we're on 26th Avenue admiring a long mural created by Quake and Hiero. I didn't take a picture to show the entire piece because there were a lot of cars blocking the view. A problem that, unfortunately, everyone is familiar with.

This wall is located on 26th Avenue, almost at the corner of Second Avenue, in the Wynwood neighborhood of Miami, a bit of a mecca for StreetArt in North America 😀. On the map, I'll try to list all the posts about this neighborhood. The number in red corresponds to the relevant street art post. Example: 800 = Street Art #880.

Exemple : 800 = StreetArt #880.

Quake & Hiero
When I travel to a city, before leaving, I always look up some information about the #StreetArt scene. In Miami, all the results point to Wynwood. And it's true, it's everywhere. Here we're in the heart of this neighborhood, on the wall that surrounds the Museum of Graffiti.
This is a collaboration between the artists Quake and Hiero, a mix of cartoon characters and lettering. The result is really cool. For your information, Quake is a Miami artist who has been active since the 90s, initially working outside the law, before becoming the founder of the design company Cushy Gigs Creative. Hiero, also known as Hiero Veiga, is a self-taught American artist with over 20 years of experience and international recognition. This explains the quality of this mural.
Sako Asko & Atomiko
Across the street, there's a piece by Colombian artist Sako Asko featuring an anthropomorphic flower, perhaps sweating to water itself. Cool concept. Next to it is a huge pumpkin, the emblem of artist Atomiko. The whole thing looks like it was created in 2025 for the Museum of Graffiti, whose entrance is nearby.
And finally, a sticker, also in this street, done by Procanela, a Venezuelan artist.
A favorite StreetArt work today?

Sako Asko is my favorite. I know the Wynwood area well. My son lived in Brickell neighborhood for awhile. His favorite dessert was from a street cart in Wynwood.
This neighborhood is incredible with all its StreetArt, and a fairly "commercial" part with tourists. However, near the highway, there are warehouses also covered in graffiti, but I wouldn't walk around there in the evening or at night... there was nobody there.
